Being on death's door isn't usually a good thing unless you can open it, what meal shall be eaten if no work is to be done? well, Limbo here might just come and mess that up for you.
"Huh, who the hell are you mate?"
Brought to life with the withered thorns and darkened petals of a corrupted rose by the gods themselves, Limbo had one simple job to complete- at least, it should have been simple, but he clearly doesn't like taking the easy way: it didn't take long before he decided to turn his back on the gods, his untamed and rebel spirit refusing to bow down to them and follow every single order like the mindless puppet they wanted him to be. This treason, however, wasn't taken lightly, and soon there was a prize for his head- it didn't matter if what was handed to them was a dragon kicking and screaming, trying to break free with all his might, or a cold, mangled corpse, the result would be the same; they would go to any length in order to erase all trace of such a mistake. Too bad said mistake will do anything in his power to be as annoying as possible.
To further trouble the ‘snobby gods’, Limbo has taken it upon himself to steal and set free the lost souls collected by the grim reapers working for them, ignoring all the possible dangers to laugh at the reaper’s annoyance once they find their job hindered. No matter how close he may be to get caught and executed, the thrill and fun from such a petty prank are always worth the risk, at least in his eyes- how could it not, seeing their faces red with anger and hearing them spout all kind of unintelligible curses, scrambling to collect once again what was lost, only for the process to repeat over and over again? He would gladly spend entire ages doing this and never getting tired- and he might just do that, if he doesn’t find a better way to annoy those gods he loathes so much.
With such a mischievous nature, so hellbent on making the gods’ lives as hellish as possible, one might think he would never dare to even speak to one of them, let alone become friends with one- and while he does avoid most of them, he did befriend one, as unlikely as that sounds; Roku seems to be the only god who doesn’t try to boss him around or to stop his antics, something much appreciated by Limbo, and with his high rank, no one else can order him to capture or kill their rebel creation- not that anyone really knows about their friendship, or at least, not enough to know who Limbo is. It certainly is a good thing that Roku doesn’t mind Limbo’s mischievous personality, as he’ll gladly follow him around for most of the day, but that’s normal when you only have one friend, right? Maybe.
With his affinity for pranks and jokes, his sarcasm and tendency to annoy everyone around him is something to be expected; few dragons can put up with him and his lack of understanding of personal boundaries, most of them losing their patience at some point or another. There’s a reason he doesn’t have many friends, after all. His usually blank face, regardless of what he is saying or doing at the moment, make it quite hard to try and guess what’s going on in his head. With how quick he is to joke around even in the weirder or more inappropriate situation, what does actually surprise is how quickly and suddenly Limbo will go quiet when uncomfortable, which seems to be the only moment when he’ll shut up and not make his presence known to others.
As someone who doesn’t like to be bound by rules and orders, despite living in the clan, Limbo often wanders off whenever he feels like it and for as long as he wants to, going where he wants to go, no matter if it’s some secluded place on the other side of Sornieth or just the woods near the lair, rarely sticking around for too much time. In those rare occasions when he actually decided to stay in the clan, he simply follows Roku, who has pretty much become his babysitter of sorts; after knowing Limbo for so long, he has learned that a being as stubborn as him simply cannot be controlled or stopped. On the bright side, Limbo doesn’t seem interested in doing much more than talking or just hanging around him, reserving his more annoying and obnoxious antics for the reapers and gods he loathes.
He's like a child clinging onto his mother as Roku often as to shake him off his expensive scarf so he can travel past the gate so he can attend his many meeting. A moon and sun should never be seen together but Roku can't help but smile when he spots Limbo running to him.
