 Shadowfall "The ordinary looks for a way. The warrior makes one." Shadowfall was born into a clan that might've done better if they'd kept their eyes on him. Constantly. Oh, it started with the small things, like explosions and whatnots. Then it escalated into full-blown eruptions during which a tiny Fae could clearly be seen screaming at two Imperial dragons as he bopped them on the head and flew screeching away. When he was full-grown, Shadowfall dubbed himself a knight and set off on his very own adventure. In no less than a week after he left his clan, he'd gotten in over twenty skirmishes (two of which included attacks on a Snapper dragon who was settling butterflies -- "MY BROTHERS"), seven explosions, and an incident involving two drums, one radioactive block of sulfur, an enraged Bogsneak, and a Fae dragon that perhaps looked very much like Shadowfall. They say Shadowfall's valiant fighting attracted the attention of Goat and Aloe, the leaders of the Burrow. Behind his back, they said it was his infamous blunders during which he'd mistaken lovely maidens for witches and honest merchants for leaders of the black market that drew their eye. Either way, Shadowfall did attract quite a lot of attention from the dragons of the Burrow, especially after he knocked down a tree and brought it down on Goat's head. Thankfully, the mild Guardian saw no offense and asked for Shadowfall's entry into the Burrow. At first Shadowfall challenged him to a joust, believing Goat to be a Dark Lord who wished to make him a brainwashed servant. Then Aloe brought out a platter of delicious roasted insects and Shadowfall decided that perhaps he'd had enough fighting for one day and if he was to be recruited by a Dark Lord, then at least the food is good.

Shadowfall considers himself the hero in all battles, the one who turns the tide. Truth be told, he normally is the one who turns the tide -- even if only because his enemies are too busy staring baffled at a tiny fae dressed in full metal armour screaming at the top of his lungs. Shadowfall may be tiny, but his charisma makes up for his lack of size. He never does anything halfway. Ask him to pick a flower? He'll mow down your lawn. Have him cook a turkey? He'll burn your kitchen down. Tell him to play nicely? He'll…He'll…..He won't know what to do. In battle, Shadowfall can often be found accompanied by his two Imperial battle partners, Joria and Lord, the two of whom discretely annihilate enemies in the background as their fellow Fae takes the spotlight. Shadowfall believes himself to be as big as a Guardian, shining with nobility and at the center of the attention everywhere. While he may not be as big as he imagines himself to be, he certainly is the center of attention and the aim of every ranged attack within a ten-mile radius. One day Shadowfall shall be known as the Victory Bringer, the Entourage of Devastation. The Hero in Dark Times and the Undefeated Warrior. Until then, he's just the guy you beat up halfway through the game before you meet the real boss. |
