Watching the world
For a long time, Kai walked the world for generations, seeing many dragons come and go; thrive and die. It was the balance he became accustomed to. As each year passed, he watched as many dragons evolved to new species, discovering new genes that many roam around today with. But Kai never liked the new dragon age. He was one of the few that do remain from the old days, growing tired of the young dragon's antics. Though he did grow up, he wanted to have the power to reverse the clock, having gone back and relived his life as a young dragon.

Finding Chara
There was one dragon that Kai met before finally settling down; that was Chara. Chara was a couple of days older than the Coatl, having an amazing length over 50M and an even more impressive wingspan to accommodate her large feature. Though they lived in sperate clans, they made it their task to meet up with each other each and every week. Chara and Kai were close, platonically, having formed a strong bond that stood to the test of time. For two years, they met up, looking in the Arcanist's Observatory talking about the dumbest of things. But there was a time where Chara dropped off the face of the world, having Kai worry for his friend; ultimately forgetting about her.

Reunited with a Difference
On Kai's 4th birthday, he talked to his clan about leaving the Abiding Boneyard, to explore the world on his own terms. Everyone in the clan reluctantly agreed, having taken off all of the apparel on the Coatl and watch as he left. It wasn't like the Coatl didn't know how to survive his own with the Beastclan, rather that they feared that when other clans get their claws on their son, he was going to die for the gods. And that was something that he feared. Kai knew his way around the world, having gone on errands for his former clan to either escort hatchlings to their adopters, or to gather various objects. It wasn't anything too extraordinary for the Coatl, though he found many dragon eggs that were left abandoned in different regions. He wandered for a half of year, recalling the memories he shared with Chara, sitting in the center of the Arcane region, where he found a strange scroll. Never seeing it before, Kai picked up the scroll, reading the ancient text that his parents taught him, finding out once he was finished with the scroll, combust into ashes, that the world around him was much larger; or rather that he became smaller with vision going three different directions. Confused, Kai exited the building, finding a familiar Nocturne outside the place gathering some of the scraps; "That scent..." Kai smelled the familiar honey and cinnamon that the dragon resinated off, having approached the dragon, "Chara! Is that you?!" "Kai?" The dragon turned around, being a whole lot smaller than any normal Nocturne, having the Coatl-hydra approach her. "What happened to you? Wait, help me with this stuff, my clan needs them, then we can catch up." Chara explained having the Coatl carry three batches of items back to the clan. Thus started his story within his new home, in the Gladeveins.
