»About.
Aside from the couriers that deliver most Sornieth mail, including the continent's region-wide newspaper, The Sornieth Courant, Bribe has his ways of delivering mail when the couriers are busy or refuse to deliver to certain areas. Bribe’s beastclan connections allow him access to the local avian beasts and their mail system. Bribe may also use pigeons, doves, or crows. Bribe loves crows.
Bribe believes himself to have a way with birds. He’s had his fair share of accidents and nearly-pecked-out eyes, but he claims to make it all a learning experience. Bribe’s corner of the Enclave, exactly opposite of Wolf’s creature training pen, is less lived in by Bribe than it is his side business of carrier pigeons and other “Carry-on” birds. Bribe doesn’t know what carrion is and refuses to learn or pay to change his advertisements.

Notes:
“Do you know what character assassination is? Would you like to?"
-When he tells stories he makes all the sound effects and does all the voices. He's sooooooo good you don't even know
-What is that cane even for? (assault)
-pen pals with several slightly illiterate harpies
-This traveling storytellergatherer has 7 languages under his hat: His first language is Common Draconic, and he can probably decipher old Draconic spoken by Gaolers as well. Aviananic, is spoken by Harpies and has become incorporated in different avian languages that share much of the Harpy tongue and history. The other aviankinds (Raptorik, Talonok, Corven, Aviar, and Tengu) all have mostly separate languages that have changed over time to accommodate Aviananic, and the Harpies’ rise in influene in Sornieth. Raptorik have a more distinguished language from Aviananic, called Orinkik, which is essentially shared with Talonok. Ssoainc is hissed and slurred by the Serthis. Longneck, unlike Harpies in recent decades, have continued to merge their language (Hofornic) with Draconic. Faun (or Satyrs), much like their stereotypical demeanor, speak in a smooth, soft tongue called, Vyeren. Manticore speak Manticorian. They are a straightforward and pragmatic race. Kitsune often speak a multitude of languages, making their own (Sunikui (Soo-nee-koo-ee)) a confusing concoction of a language for those who do not grow up learning it. Similar to the Corven, Aviar, and Tengu, Sphinx speak an old and barely changed language. In fact, Phsonoro is likely the most unchanged languages in Sornieth’s history. Because of this, they are believed to have a greater connection to the original four gods. Those who don’t believe dragon gods and beasts have any connection, tend to forget the language exists.

Centaur (Centren)- “And I thought the Manticore were stone-faced. Yeesh. No thanks.”
Maren (Washavese)- “Too much gurgling.”
Mith (Mithith)- “I can’t emote like a fae so why would I even try. And coatl humming is annoying enough, you think I can stand big moths? Also this language makes me thonguethied.”
Dryad (Brushanese)- “Well I know a little bit having lived in the Viridian Labyrinth, so I guess I speak that one too. They don’t talk much anyway, from what I’ve heard.”
Sprangyroo (Realaoo)- “It is not basically Horfornic?”
Talonok (Orinkik/Torikik)- “Aviananic or Orinkikor or whatever.”
Corven (Corven)- “Aviananic.”
Aviar (Anir)- “Aviananic.”
Tengu (Tahsik)- “Orinkik.”

Bribe, you're a translator, storyteller, and you hang around with Harpies. Any Harpy folktales you've heard that you'd like to share?
30429311p.png?mtime=W-kDnQAAOiE.png "Ah!" Bribe set his feet on the ground and splayed his hands theatrically while the rest of his body coiled up behind him.
"Ever heard of the story of the Harpies and the Red Sun Stone? Or maybe the trilogy about the Green Magister and the Purple Turtle--That one's got a twist you'll never see coming. I won't spoil it for you. I've heard the great Tallona isn't big on fiction, but there was one she supposedly liked. It's a famous tragicomedy about a featherless harpy prince cast out of his home who gets lost within the Tangled Wood. Some harpies who have traveled to those woods, claim to have seen a pale, chicken-skinned and lumbering figure following them from behind the trees." Bribe wiggled his fingers ominously. "It's become a kind of fable to teach hatchlings about the importance of pruning or something such."

Bribe, you sound like an impressive storyteller! If you have time, could you please tell us a story? A short one is fine.
30429311p.png "A millennia ago, before the ages of dragons when the First Four bickered lightly about what land they would claim as their own, beasts flourished in their now long lost cities. Actually! Before even that, there were another four. Four harpies from a barely recorded time. The ravine now known as the Greatwyrm's Breach was where they lay quietly nipping and scarring amongst themselves. They hated each other. The heads of four harpy families wanting nothing to do with one another, yet puffing out their feathery chests, chose to meet anyway. Strange events had begun to shake their world as the earliest dragon gods took form from the land. The beasts of Old Sornieth feared something unknown, yet could tell great change was coming. A discussion took place between the four harpies. While they despised each other and would otherwise kept to themselves, they did share one thing in common. They wanted to protect their families, to ensure they would live on through whatever change was headed their way. Over squabbles and steam, they had come to an agreement and left each others' presences immediately after.

No one knows how it was made. Some say a harpy mage or sculpture or geologist brought it into being or sought it out. Either way, modern legend says a magical red stone lies at the heart of the Pillar of the World, endued with the power of the sun to protect harpy kind (from what, I have no clue)--and in turn guarded by harpies both physically and orally. You ask a harpy or raptorik about this story or the stone itself, their beaks will snap shut so tight they won't even bother to ask you to leave. Just be prepared to limp home.

Today, people wonder what power the stone holds, and some brave believers seek out the stone itself. Some theorize the warring between the dragons and the beasts was partly sparked by a particular dragon's greedy thirst for the stone and its secrets."

Species/Race: (Raptorik) Greenwing Razorclaw (X)
Occupation: Bounty Hunter

Appearance: Hicca is sturdily built raptorik with fast reflexes and an eye for scouting. ooofmore

Backstory:
Connections: Hicca's back alley connections keep her from surfacing much in Sorienth, but as her main employer, Captain McKenzie often makes stops along the coasts in order to buy (or pillage) supplies and valuable goods. Aside from Hicca's main purpose as a bounty hunter, her employer often pays her to act as an enforcer. Despite their constant business-doings, McKenzie and Hicca are actually quite close, as far as dragon-beast relationships go.
