Biography

Quote:
from ancient Greek Eurynomos: "wide-ruling"; chthonic daemon of rotting corpses who stripped the flesh from the bones of the dead, portrayed with bared teeth and blue-black skin like that of meat flies

The Virulent Marauder, Warrior of Iubaris

cerebral | fastidious | callous

old bio lol, idk why i was this bad at writing! wow

Somewhat primal in nature, Eurynomos enjoys life's simple amenities; an occasional shelter, usually the hollowed carcass of some unfortunate animal--because it's just so cozy; food, be it rotting or not; and perhaps a lover or two, if they don't mind a few scrapes. Ironically, he is a voracious reader, and enjoys ancient texts of lore as well as anatomical encyclopedias.

Those that have witnessed him in battle pray they had not. They say he behaves like a god, slashing down opponents with disease-ridden claws, plunging teeth laced with the contagion of his homeland into defectors. The worst, they say, is to stay long enough to see what happens to the dead once combat has ceased and the wounded have hobbled home. In the ink of night, the beady eyes of carrion birds and other scavengers can be seen in the treeline; they remain at bay--not one dares approach the corpses. Atop said corpses broods Eurynomos, his plague flight warpaint ablaze like fire as he strips sinewy, gristly flesh from the freshly fallen. It is said that although he does not fully consume each body, he does choose a sort of trophy from each; an organ or cut of meat, sometimes even a bone to gnaw on later.

Confronting the wildclaw, even for casual conversation, is best avoided. His bloody gaze never judges, never betrays his thoughts. His voice is so dangerously sweet it calms your very heart, and that it is what makes him so terrifying. He honors no alliance, no friendship, no doctrine of any kind. If he ever joins a clan, he is not to be trusted.

Recently, he has taken a liking to an icy wildclaw girl, and an eccentric warlock has taken interest in him. They all seem to have a lot in common.
