His favorite time of the year was nearing. Viognier didn't get excited about much (and really, "excited" was a stretch to describe him in the first place) but Wavecrest Saturnalia was the one time where he could truly put his talents to use.

With the appearance of Levitos, the fabled island-city that rose up out of the Sea of a Thousand Currents, Viognier could spend the time during the festival selling his wares - wine and lies. The wine was for fun; the lies for business. The dragons of Levitos were vulnerable, being concealed to the rest of Sornieth for most weeks out of the year. While he took advantage of others, he would be collecting things of value to those he served.

Viognier checked his pack, making sure that what he needed was there. He changed out of his shadowy silks and into something more dignified. This year, he thought to himself, was going to be good.
