Blessing is the local gardener and cafe owner. Her cafe deeper in the Windswept Plateau is a popular hang out spot for the mercenaries. She is an ambassador from a treasured ally in Nature. Blessing is the only one in the clan who can consistently provide medicinal herbs and necessary food for the clan at their location by the Twisting Crescendo.

Her fingertips smelled of pollen and plucked grass. In her woven basket sat a plethora of colour and hues pertaining to the blossoms synonymous with the spring seasons. Trees trembled in the playful breeze and leaves found themselves twisting into spiralling waltzes, collecting the smallest petals in their joyous jubilation.

Blessing sat among the wilds and counted her herbs with a lilting, melodious mumble. Her eyes followed the tips of her claws, ghosting over the curves of petals and the slender twisting of stems. In her mind sat the possibilities of combinations to create, and the more she dwelled, the more she found herself lost in thought. She journeyed home to the greenhouse, her travel imbued with an airy pleasure aided by the soft, feathery wind.

It seemed a far cry from the Nature territories. Blessing sat in her greenhouse and maintained her plants, the warm air felt something her body adjusted to well. The Viridian Labyrinth hosted trees so thick that wind felt a seldom luxury among the sweltering glades, but the wind flowed freely in all directions in these new lands. Blessing’s greenhouse took the light of the sun and warmed each plant well, shielding them from the drifting traces of the crescendo.

Her gentle fingertips touched growing leaves, inspecting rows of plants until she began to prune them of their eldest leaves, gathering them in soft palms. She took them to fire, concealing them within a pot and left to dry, she scooped previously dried leaves and set them in her cup, careful to bathe them in the hot water of her teapot, letting the leaves steep, staining the once transparent water with a pleasant pink, pearlish flourish. She brought the cup to her lips and felt the steam reach to ghost over her jaw, the rich flavour lingered in her nose as she swallowed her first eager sips, cup settled upon the table.

She cast her gaze through large windows and began to ponder. The Labyrinth seemed but a memory, rather than a place of habitude living. Something buried away and left to word of mouth with no proof of its existence save for those who once built their families in the hollows of their towering trees. Blessing could not believe how the trees grew in the Plateau. Thin, bending and flowing. They did not protest the wind, but embraced it. Much like those who lived here. Blessing found herself doing the same. Her mornings were ruled by which way her cloak began to sweep, her travels long and winding, but she could not summon a complaint to her, no matter how she sit and contemplate. Her palms found her cup and another sip was taken. In the quietude of her conservatory, there was nought but the softest, distant droplet of water from the leaves of plants well watered. Blessing watched the winds shift the leaves and petals in its dizzying display of the Windsinger’s silent conversation among the elements.

The world seemed so much larger to her now.
