tumblr_inline_nll482iWeL1qg2i5p_400.png Jarzu may look intimidating, covered in spikes both natural and artificial, but in fact she's one of the friendliest members of the Forge Warden clan. Although many of the clan can be stern, following the example of their Matriarch, Jarzu is bright and bubbly, and always ready to cheer someone up with a joke or a terrible pun. She's always one of the first to greet new members coming to the clan and delights in "initiating" them with pranks. They're never malicious or harmful, but it can be more than a little annoying to wake up after a nap covered in fissure crawdads. Especially when you spend the rest of the day surrounded by hungry coatls and ridgebacks. Long time members are not exempt either, but her impish behavior is most often a relief to those who need a distraction from the daily grind of life, so no one could possibly be annoyed by her antics.

Despite her bright and cheerful demeanor most of the time, Jarzu is no stranger to battle. The Matriarch prefers that as many of them be warriors, or at least battle trained, as possible. The coatl may not be as strong as some of the steadfast guardians or fierce imperials, but she pursues her enemies with a relentless determination to bring them down for the glory of the Flamecaller. She is also a skilled scavenger and gatherer for the clan, adept at finding items of value and needed materials. Particularly good at finding rare metal ores, Jarzu brings them back for her mate, Resdayn, the clan's primary blacksmith. She believes this "ability" is a gift from the Flamecaller, much like Resdayn's capability of tasting fine ores, and that their pairing and combining of talents was a scripted fate.
