Main Theme: "The Last Goodbye"

______ Astra may have been born a dragon of Ice, but she holds a macabre fascination for everything Plague. Quite fitting, her Charge is the dead; she cares for the freshly fallen and the ancient dead alike. Most other dragons likely see her as a scavenger, what with her picking corpses clean of their resources and collecting their bones. But, her actions serve a purpose. Those that die -- whether through old age, sickness, or battles -- deserve to be cared for respectfully, no matter who or what they were in life. She takes what can still be used by the living, therefor giving the creature's death another purpose in the living world. Bones are burned and the ashes buried with great care and sacred ritual; she keeps a select amount of ashes to herself, secreted away in her own personal hoard, away from the clan's main cache.


______ Her close association with death gives Astra an unfortunate stigma. Others often avoid her, both for her odd fascination with all things dead, deadly or diseased as well as the fact that she smells of rot and decay. She will infrequently attempt to socialize with those outside of her own clan, as she really only has a handful of clanmates she would classify as "friends". For all her awkwardness and eccentricities, Astra is a gentle and well-meaning soul. She will defend herself, her clan, and her ashen treasures with her life.
