Name: Nidra Dusk.

Occupation: Maiden of dreams.

Past: Nidra, grew up in a clan made up mostly of nocturnes, as a result, the majority of the clan was nocturnal herself included. She still struggles with staying awake during daylight hours and is sensitive to the bright light of the sun. It was a rather big clan and almost everything was shared. Her favorite place to go was the stream where they gathered water, washed clothes and even bathed she loved to splash around in the water but what really made it special for her was the sound. The day she came of age to begin her own search for her own charge she was a bit anxious but she always knew that returning to her family, friends, and home would make it all worth it. It took about three months to find her charge just a simple necklace but it was worth every tiered footstep she took simply because it was hers and only hers. She was incredibly excited to show everyone back home. But when she returned all that was there was rubble as far as the eye could see. Tears ran down her face. Her home had been destroyed and her clan gone. She searched through all of the rubble and buried each body she found. She never found the bodies of her parents along with the bodies of a few other clan-mates. Had they escaped or just been too far into the cave for her to find? After she buried all the bodies she could find, she went to the stream tears still in her eyes. She followed the stream until she couldn't walk anymore. Suddenly a voice rang out asking if she was alright. She looked all around to find who had spoken to her but there seemed to be no one. Then she heard the voice again but once again she couldn't find who was talking. Then the voice told her a story about a maiden. As they told the story it dawned on her the one speaking was the necklace. At first, she was scared, then confused, she asked how it was talking to her and it explained that it was once a dragon as well. A pearlcatcher and that the necklace that she was wearing has the pieces of their pearl and with it their soul. Although only the one who wears the necklace can hear them. It then told her that the story that they had told her just moments ago was a prophecy about the old Maiden of dreams' fall and the rise of the new Maiden of dreams, Nidra.

Arrival: Nidra, had long since begun her journey as the, Maiden of dreams, one of her missions brought her to a small city in the Starwood Strand where a boy trapped in a coma rested. It was during the day of the, Starfall Celebration, and the streets were filled with dragons of all kinds. It wasn't her first mission in an densely populated area but normally it was a quick slip in through a window, save the fallen dragon, and, get out of town unnoticed. However with this many dragons around to spot her and get the wrong idea of the situation that was no longer an option. Not that she had got a read on where the boy was yet. While she searched for the sleeping child a firework show began and cheers rang out through the streets, though it did not interest her in the slightest. She came across a bakery and found herself to be hungry. She walked into the bakery and was about to ring a bell when he walked in. The owner of the bakery with a young fae. Nidra, picked out what food she wanted and as he was getting the price she sensed something. She sensed the sleeping child. She had no idea how to ask him about it or how to tell him about being able to enter other's dreams. After all her prophecy is one long forgotten. She most likely would have failed if it was not for the fae taking notice of her necklace and calling it by name, Ara. Confused and surprised, Nidra, asked how they could have known that. The fae flew away and came back quickly with a book the fae flipped to a page with a prophecy. Her prophecy. Then they asked if she was there for her brother, obviously excited of the thought. Nidra, said yes and was taken directly to the boy. She entered his dream and soon after he awoke. Nidra, was about to leave when the fae invited her back to the liar. Nidra, was stunned but then was reassured by Velvet telling her that she should at least spend the one night there if she had nowhere else to go. After some hesitation, she agreed to spend the night thinking she would leave the next day. But she quickly became attached to this small clan quicker then she had ever before. Her loyal nature got the best of her and she decided to stay.
