Jenny Kingsmith

Robbie's daughter and little darling, a beautiful and spirited young skydancer who was doted and spoiled rotten by all of the money the Guild was sending him, and which Robbie himself barely used on him, to keep up their partnership a secret. Jenny, on the other hand, grew up in riches and comfort, making good use of her father's fortune.

Despite her very rich upbringing, Jenny is great company, her joie de vivre a contagious energy, and she herself has very little qualms about other dragons, never willing to pass judgement or diminish another for their sins or choices.

On the contrary, Jenny feels more at ease with the scallywags and ruffians at Gilly an' Gull Pub and Inn than with the richer dragons that hang around the Greatshell Hotel. Jenny takes a lot of pride in being rich, and to be confronted with dragons who are as rich (or sometimes even more) than her makes her feel insecure, as deep inside, Jenny only sees value in herself for her family money.

She spends most of her time anywhere but the Navigator Harbour, opting to hang around Porto Porto, or Porto Peixe, the only times she mingles with her rich peers when she visits the Greatshell Casino, as gambling remains Jenny's only and deeper addiction (she's not an alcoholic, but she does drink a lot, but no, it's manageable, unlike gambling).

But Jenny, oh! Jenny is the life of the party. Everywhere she goes, people follow suite, she's good fun and her laugh is a delight! She's always willing to pay for everyone's tabs when she comes at the Gilly n' Gull, and people have taken to her for that to the point nobody would dare lay a finger to their spoiled princess. The ruffians at the Inn would be quick to point out that Jenny is a good time regardless of her money, but Jenny refuses to listen, and keeps paying her way into dragon's graces.

The biggest contender for Jenny's popularity is her ~~husband? boyfriend? its complicated~~ association with Cypress, the Navigator's Guild tall, dark and dangerous loan shark. His presence is not loved, although it isn't too hard to make him step out of his shell (by getting him drunk), but obviously, those who have previously had him come to their door to collect debt will never forget the experience, so his presence at Jenny's side is, at times, enough to sour her reputation completely.

Many wonder what drives her to such a dreadful character like his, but Jenny claims Cypress is charming. Witty, funny, always quick to make a smart remark and make her see things in ways she never would. They're a good fit, and both enjoy the high life and the drinking, partying and fastidious nature of living in a merchant town like Porto.

Jenny would never admit, but knowing her own father's life and the services he was providing the guild means she knows she would never settle for a normal married life, too used to grim reminders of the Guild's far less licit actitivies.

This is her life, she's used, Cypress is her perfect fit.

I am a SUCKER for spruce butterfly, and your lair was full of it, it was really hard to choose. I ended up picking Jenny because she has a very high priestess/villainness look about her. I feel like that tea tray is standing in for a glass of expensive merlot. Very fancy. Would pin an intruder to the wall with an engraved knife at their throat. 13/10

Jenny’s childhood dream was to own a real life castle and be treated by multiple servants. Even as an adult, she still holds on to this dream, and hopes to use the money she gets from gambling to one day make that wish a reality.

Questing for Tidelord

From the 2020 Wavecrest Out-of-Flight Event run by Volur and Sylvidoptera

Jenny decided she was going to enjoy Wavecrest Saturnalia outside her clan this time. Not because she had aims of an epic adventure or to live a fantastic story but simply because she was no fighting dragon and all her friends and mate were out of clan on their own mission.

Her clan wasn't having major events because of the Rescue of a clanmate and so she was bored to death when she heard the rumours about a dragon who could be Tidelord personified. Since Maria wasn't around to investigate she decided to make her way to the location and bring back the gossip for their newspaper.

After a few days of travelling, they found a temple of worship from which she brought back an ancient relic for Porto Museum. It was the first time Jenny collaborated to any enrichment of Porto and she felt renewed from it, longing to participate in more events in the future.
