"You're not the first one to come lookin' for a fight. You won't be the first to regret it either."

Edgar was abused by his parents and bullied by peers as a child, so he often sought solace in the wild woods. unlike a normal child who would maybe sing to the birds or build themselves a makeshift fort out of the bountiful nature around them, Edgar would kill whatever prey he could find to vent out his emotions, occasionally biting and mincing the game so much that they would be unsalvageable, and other times dragging them back home as a show of repentance towards his parents. they accepted the food willingly and praised him for his endeavors, as they were a poor family and often did not have enough to eat. however, Edgar's targets grew in size as well as his ambition, and soon he was fighting beasts much bigger than himself, coming home bloody, bruised, and more and more arrogant. eventually, he turned his "hobby" into a profession, selling high-valued rare pelts, bones, and meat to his village and other villages nearby.

he shed his real name and adopted "Dagger" instead, never to return to that past where he was pushed, yelled at, and toyed with, a mouse with its tail caught.

with his skills in animal hunting, dragons began to wonder if he wasn't getting proficient at dragon hunting, too, his belt adorned with heavy-duty and sharp, bloodied tools. a menacing and lecherous grin from the dragon often hushed them quickly, his blood-stained gaze making them go rigid with fear.

after accruing fame for his capabilities, his bloodthirstiness became nearly exhibitionist, and he would arrange for big grand battles where he conquered dangerous beasts, and eventually, young boisterous dragons who wished to test their strengths. he offered grand sums of money to those who believed they could defeat him in battle, luring in the bold, the desperate, the ignorant. it's rumored that he's even killed a few of his competitors on accident, even on purpose, just to add to his body count.

he was sculpted, powerful, and rich. no one dared to disrespect him now. if they did, well, he was always ready to give them a show.

Personality:
Dagger is harsh and rugged, having learned to never let his guard down. he is
sadistic and has very little moral boundaries so long he knows he can get away
with it. he has no real friends and is incapable of maintaining a healthy
relationship, seeing his partner as yet another piece of prey to be captured,
albeit a different kind. He reacts to most difficulties with anger and physical
violence.

Facts:
* Despite being a pearlcatcher, Dagger's diet consists of a concerning amount of meat.
* He always has his weapons, a cleaver and a dagger, on or near his body.
* His body has been destroyed and rebuilt many times over the years.
* To improve his performance, he hunts or trains from sunrise to sunset.
* He takes banned steroids from apothecaries whom he's intimidated into doing so.
