Born into a lair of ice and cold. Given away like he was nothing. Just as easily as he was hatched, he was forgotten. He wasn't even named before being sold off! He was told he was holding up the age old tradition of 'The Search', when guardians leave their original Clan's to find new ones. The little guardian just felt unwanted. Oh but how wrong he was.
He was hiding at the back of his little stable at the auction house, his siblings (all 'bright' and 'colourful'-unlike himself) fighting to get seen by the gate. The guardian hatchling felt sad and alone. So he became grumpy. Making himself look brooding to passing dragon buyers. But then a young dragon enthusiast stopped. She had a little fae dragon flying by her shoulder along with a mirror dragon at her side. All three peered into the back of the stable stall. The humans (the young girl and his original owner) exchanged some words, then the (obviously new) dragon breeder or rider (or whatever she was going to be) stepped in. Majesty's siblings parted around her, heading straight back to the gate. They knew who she was after. But he didn't. He was just confused. The male hatchling looked at the human girl curiously, as if to say, "what are you looking at? There's no one else here except...me? Really? Me?" And yes, she was really after him. The human girl smiled, sat down and patted her lap. The guardian baby's expression changed as quick as the wind. His eyes grinned as he raced into the girl's lap for a cuddle. VERY gladly the baby guardian became a part of his new nature Clan in his new nature lair. As soon as they arrived home from the auction house, the human girl named her new guardian dragon. And his name was perfect! He loved it!
Majesty.
Now that was a name that would stick, and this was a place he happily still calls home. The place he grew up, surrounded by an ever growing family.
And, as more and more dragons arrived in the Clan, the dragons themselves formed 'sub' clans. He joined his oldest friends (Midnight and Gladiator). His level-headed thinking and ability to put what is right over his personal needs soon enabled him to take on the title of 'Second in Command'-deputy, if you like. And there couldn't be a better fit!
Fast forward a couple of years later, the lair is at an all time maximum! Dragons here are from far and wide (and also from just right here!), and Majesty knows them all. He even found love in a feisty skydancer, Lumornel. A few months after he joined this Clan, another guardian did. Taking her under his wing, he became like an elder brother to her. However, since then, it has only ever really been the two of them. There's been no other guardian's (except his children who chose to leave the lair) - until now! One day, his owner bought home ANOTHER GUARDIAN!! Majesty instantly showed interest in Little Altair; who was shy and a little scared but still approached Majesty seeking comfort. The pair bonded through sharing stories of their previous lairs and experiences. It didn't take long before the pair established a father-son bond - Majesty gained a son, and Altair gained a father.
Though, as all other humans in Sorneith had, his Human disappeared. Her presence was still felt, but she had gone. Midnight and himself had a suspicion that all humans were sent from the Deities; perhaps the Gladekeeper had sent her, like many others, to guide dragons to the Moonlit-Forest, to grow and heal Sorneith, only to retract from the world when her work was done. He hoped she was proud, and found comfort in having been one of the few dragons left chosen by her, bought to his home by her. The younger dragons, even those born in other Clans, would never know her as they did. The kind one, that had chosen him over all the others. As humans had mostly left the world, the auction-house nowadays was a 'travellers-port' that the dragons themselves dealt with, not humans (if there were any humans left in Sorneith at all).
More dragons came into the Clan, and more sub-Clans were formed. Altair found comfort in The Fengari, but Majesty began a new chapter of his life. He parted from Midnight and Gladiator's little sub-Clan to guide a group of bright dragons that seemed to have formed a group with no real clue as to how to solidify their little clan. Gladly they accepted his leadership, the wise Majesty, who has raised a gallant warrior son, and is regarded as and Elder of the Clan - one of the first dragons to dwell in the Moonlit-Forest.
And so here is Majesty. Wise and honoured, an Alpha, a wonderful father, and happy. Majesty is happy.

Chimera
The chimera. A creature with the top half of a lion, the back legs and horns of a goat, and a snake for a tail. And if crossed, the chimera is a dangerous foe.
This became well known to all the Clans in this lair. The Neráides decided to take action against these 'beasts' and so Midnight put a 'capture and release' plan into action.
Majesty, being Second in Command, and the Neráides warriors were tasked with capturing all the chimeras in their territory, and then they were to re-release them into a safe 'chimera release site'.
Majesty was happy to take the task and was in charge of the operation from its beginning to end.
It was a particularly rainy day when Majesty met his familiar.
The guardian was curled up under a rather large bush, trying to get a nap. The rain dripped through the gaps as the wind whipped around the leaves' edges. It was safe to say the weather was not aiding his sleep.
Just as Majesty managed to drift off, the chimera trap snapped shut. It TOTALLY didn't make the fearsome guardian jump twenty feet out of his scales before going to check the trap. Totally not.
ANYWAY, inside the spacious cage, thrashing around, was a chimera (as expected). However, he was...small (not expected). Not a cub, but he wasn't an adult. As Majesty approached, grumbling about the weather and his non-existent 'blimmin' nap', the chimera...mewled?...in alarm. His snake tail hissed furiously, and he rattled his horns against the cage's side. However, his body was backed as far into the corner as it could get.
Majesty sat, the rain rolling off his dark back, looking curiously down upon the young chimera at his feet. A low growl rose from its throat, though its eyes glimmered with fear. From here, Majesty could see the chimera was a male and his mane wasn't fully developed. Normally at this point, the guardian would have picked up the cage, flown to the release site, and set the chimera free. The chimeras didn't die, in fact, they probably had a better life in the release site! But he couldn't bring himself to do it. Not with this one.
The rain persisted. Both dragon and chimera continued to eye each other curiously. The chimera shivered. His fur was drenched. Majesty extended a wing, some cover from the downpour. The little creature looked up at this huge dragon, realising the rain had ceased because his big flappy thing. Shyly, he crawled over towards the other end of the cage-the closest part to Majesty.
Too stormy to fly home, Majesty spent the night huddled up to the chimera's end of the cage, his wing draped over it like a blanket. When he awoke in the morning, to Majesty's horror, the chimera wasn't in the cage. Instead of just becoming annoyed with the situation (like he did last time a chimera escaped) and throw a tantrum, he began to panic. He didn't know why but the guardian felt a sudden need to protect the little creature he'd met last night. Suddenly he looked down at his back leg. A furry little mass was cuddled up next to it, contently breathing in and out in his deep sleep.
After that day, the chimera (who Majesty came to know was called Panrates, Pan for short) followed Majesty everywhere he went. Pan managed to persuade all the other wild chimeras to leave the dragons be, so no more capturing was needed! Overtime, Pan aided Majesty in his tasks and, as he grew more loyal to the dragon, soon became his most trusted companion. The pair are now, obviously, inseparable.
