Personality
Bayard is quite the grumpy one. He doesn't exactly like people, let alone big groups, and doesn't have a lot of friends. Being worshiped as a king in his new layer is quite odd to him. In short, he's salty.
Early Years
Bayard was always with his younger twin, Andin. He never let Andin leave his side-- he was so protective over his brother. He always was. He was quite the silent type-- quite deadly, though. Andin WAS the only one to understand Bayard and his selective mutism.
Trivia
Clan members think Bayard is mute as he doesn't talk to anyone but Geist, Andin, and Misty. Clan members thinks Bayard is gay, calling him Gayard. He's actually asexual. He's known as The Blood King. No one knows why, in fact he doesn't even know why he calls that but he doesn't really mind.

Bayard had always had a limp in his left leg that made him run weird. He could never fully place his foot on the ground without it feeling like it'd burst into flames straight from hell, making him think that it might've been sprained or injured while still in his egg.
Current
Bayard wasn't one to tolerate people so his twin, Andin, wasn't exactly surprised to see him napping in the corner of their clan’s lair, yet he was still worried about him. MistyEyes, the previous clan leader, stopped by with Geist to check on them and noticed Bayard in the corner. “No point in waiting on him, Hon, come eat,” Misty mumbled and slinked off. Andin always admired her, she was strong yet friendly and respectful. She held a lot of power but seemed to keep it secret unless the clan was in trouble. That never really happened. “Go on, child,” Geist smiled down at him, “He'll come out soon.” Andin nodded and followed Misty to the feast. Geist stalked over to her mate and sat down behind him, he grunted when she rested a midnight paw on his shoulder blade. “Bayard you need to eat. Come outside, everyone is worried about you.” He only growled and curled up more. She could hear a scraping noise from the same corner and feel Bayard’s muscles move. She snarled and snapped at him “don’t you dare start picking again!” She grabbed his paw in his forehead and barked, “that's a bad habit,Bayard, and you need to quit!” Bayard twisted and swiped his clawed paws at Geist who quickly jumped back. Both were crouching on their hind legs, snarling at each other. Bayard had his claws out, ready to attack her. Geist may be snarling but she was wary about her mate, she noticed his blood red eyes were glazed and his jaws dripping with some gold liquid. Geist cried out and pushed her weight back with her wings, quickly launching herself out of the cave. Bayard released a guttural roar and pressed himself forward to chase her. “Misty! Ruby!” Geist shouted out, stretching her wings and shooting herself in the sky. Being the Ghost Queen she has the largest wingspan of her breed and is the fastest flyer. She cried out again when Bayard charged out, hissing, roaring, and swiping at the clan members. Geist watched in worry as the clan spread out into the hunting grounds, led by Rusty and Bashok. Doom slinked himself atop the lair entrance and watched as Misty and Ruby stood their ground in front of the strange ridgeback. Misty warned him to stand back while Ruby guarded her, standing on her hind legs with her wings fully spread. She was quite a large ridgeback, but not as large as Geist. Manya ran up and flew around Bayard, catching his attention which almost got her severely injured. She figured Manya had drawn some sort of circle around Bayard to keep him from going outside of it, but who knows what the weirdo was into. Bayard looked up and straight to Geist, she snorted but what surprised her was the fact that he no longer had that feral look in his face. She snorted and landed on her hind legs. Misty glanced at her as she walked up. “Do you know what’s wrong with him?” She asked as she watched Bayard his and shake his head. He scraped his long horn with his left dewclaw. “I'm sorry,” he sat down and bowed his head. Geist only sighed, wondering what she's to do with him. This seems to just be a phase.
Job Description
Being king, Bayard is pampered a lot. He takes care of the clan, but he's the one who gives the speeches instead of Geist.
Day in The Life Of Bayard
Since he's always pampered and never really has anything to do, he will just hang around the clan lair watching everyone in silence. He will also stay in his little cave he shares with his family and will just lay down in the corner and doodle a little in the rocks with his claws. He's a really talented artist. |
