One wouldn't take Mariana for a warrior, not from a first sight. Kind, nurturing, cheerful, she's always willing to listen, to treat one with care and dignity. But make no mistake - her gentle hands are the same ones that guide her sword through an enemy's heart. Her kindness doesn't stem from naivety, far from that. Losing most of her kids to war, knowing that her beloved one and son possess affinity to great powers whether they like it or not might have made her distant, terrified, yet it never did. Mariana is so full of life, of joy, and she's ready to share it with others - and she's also ready to unsheathe the sword when the time comes.
