B I O G R A P H Y

______ Born to a bright, loving, and wealthy clan, Goldengale always thought that her life was as perfect as it could get as a hatchling. She had a plethora of friends (and no pesky siblings), she was spoiled by her parents, and she even had servants that she could boss around all day long. Life was good, until she reached her teenage years. Things began to get darker and more dangerous, after she found out on her 14th birthday that her family was only wealthy because her father was a powerful mafia boss. Goldengale began to get involved with her father's business after she found out that all of her 'friends' were paid to be around her, and she often worked as a spy or messenger to help bring the enemies down and the money in. Through her missions, Goldengale learned how to smooth-talk her way in or out of just about any situation, and by the time she was 18, she had seemingly cheated death more times than one could count, and sold more illegal weaponry and drugs in 4 years than your local arms-dealer in Detroit could in 10.

______ Her father, however, was not as lucky. Six years after he spilled the beans to Goldengale, he was shot dead by an archer from one of his rivals, leaving his operations and money to his only daughter. Realizing that this was no longer a game, Goldengale decided that she wanted nothing more to do with her father's business, and that she valued her life more than some metal you can chuck at someone for goods. Never looking back, Goldengale left her life of a mafia boss behind, and became a humble merchant selling on the side streets of the Sunbeam Ruins. After all, she could still smooth-talk anyone into buying just about anything she had. It wasn't long until her old life came back to haunt her, however, as her old rivals were not about to just let her live with all the knowledge she had on them. After killing her mother and forcing her into hiding, Goldengale realized that she couldn't stay in the land of light any longer, or she'd be hunted and killed. She ran from her pursuers for months, dodging from territory to territory until she wandered deep into the Tangled Wood, where she met a bright looking spiral with a peculiar power. He was glowing green and acid dripped from his claws and underbelly, though he seemed friendly despite these intimidating features. Telling him as little as possible, Goldengale convinced the spiral to protect her, and he took her to his clan for the night. In the morning, however, the spiral she had met took her to the clan elders, as he had picked up that what she had told him may not have been entirely true. After hours of denial, Goldengale finally gave in and told her story to the elders, and after much debate, it was decided that she would stay, and that she and the clan would face her threat together. The mafia rivals came after a few days, but she was ready. With enough makeup on to turn her whole body from yellow to blue, and enough silks and fur to make her look like some sort of god, Goldengale talked her way through every assassin that came for her, convincing them all that she was dead, killed by the claws of the glowing dragon she met first, until the rival mafia boss himself was finally convinced that it was true and assassins stopped coming for her. With victory finally at hand, Goldengale decided to stay with the clan that helped her, and became the humble merchant that she had wanted to become, helping to provide money for her real friends and family.
