"You learn from mistakes, so why not streamline your workflow by making as many mistakes as possible?"

Tetra lived most of her life in a quiet countryside clan of nobles. often ignored as she was considered as the 'middle child'. The adults of the clan spent their time catering more to the troublesome older hatchlings and the whiny younger ones. As they were all snobby aristocrats, they either left the hatchlings to themselves, or hired nannies. Usually the nanny did a pretty ***** job. The hatchlings unlucky enough to be cast into the role of 'middle child' grew up to be quiet, and often lonesome. Some would develop as in dependent, teaching themselves how to live and operate as they we're devoid of their parents' teachings. While others never learned, and just found ways around normal situations. Tetra was the latter, when the adults noticed later in her life, they came together and decided to give her a job that could whip her into shape. If you knew someone who grew up like a mangled tree, you'd also know that this would never work. Obviously, it didn't. Tetra remained the same old silent, unsocial waste of space. She was tasked with supervising the younger hatchlings. Not necessarily a babysitter, but she was forced to tag along on the little toddlers adventures while their parents were too busy. Or just when their parents couldn't be bothered. Which was all the time. She took the hatchlings on many adventures within the safe fields and woods surround the luxury cabins, If any of them turned up back at their clan injured, they would kill Tetra. Luckily her lifestyle revolving around taking care of the hatchlings taught her how to keep them safe. So the adults never caused her any grief. |
Tetra obtain that dreadful curse when she had to go with some of the adults to reason with Cetl, one of the most honoured and powerful warlords in the Southern Icefield. She was wandering off to explore the blood freezing ice structures that surrounded the castle. She stumbled across a Longneck's shamanic ritual, he noticed her spying on he's doings, and decided to include her in his magic. To this day, Tetra doesn't know what was really going on, but the Longneck mage brought out some jewelled cuffs, and clipped them onto her claws as she was bound by some enchanted ice. The magic immediately took affect, shortening her limbs, and growing webs across her weakening horns. Once her wings had shrunk enough, her terror took controll and shakily fluttered her wings in hopes of getting off the ground, but this new body had been confusing and very different. She resorted to running with flimsy little legs across the previously durable ice to her group. The whole ordeal was extremely painful.
That curse truly was a horrid burden. It is believed that if those cuffs were ever taken off her, she would die. She did eventually learn to tolerate her changes, but she despised every single bit of it. In her early adulthood, Tetra had to find somewhere else to live. She was taken in by a 'kind' Spiral dragon, only could be considered 'kind' if 'kind' is also an antagonym. Grimrider was actually an abusive monster, who forced her to participate in acts unfathomable. Which resulted in her having to raise three hatchlings, to give you an idea of what went down between them.
Tetra did eventually escape his sweaty grasp, but she had nowhere to go. She staggered through the whole Viridian Labyrinth, to be exalted. But luckily, she didn't, because a small Mirror Dragon shredding a blackberry bush in rage had caught her eye. Tetra found out this young Mirror Dragon, Shade, was homeless and training to be able to kill the Ice dragons who stripped her of her life. They became close friends, some could say family. Tetra taught Shade a few techniques of her own. they later met Fletcher, who joined them in this newly formed clan. Their convenient location attracted many more dragons to join.
This clan grew and grew, becoming home to many different dragons. Some dragons only passed through, using this as a temporary home. One such dragon was a war veteran on the run, Pokoso. Nothing particularly interesting happened during most of the clan's early existence, up until the Kidnapping. The Kidnapping was when an insane dragon from the Wind flight came and stole four hatchlings. The Thief had tied them to a tree, and skinned them alive to make special kites. Resulting in the whole of Auminthina scampering off in fear, to only rest deep into the forest.
Tetra yearned to be her normal self again, so she sought out Pinky, a well known nocturne who studied curses and other forms of ailments. One of her specialities was reversing curses. She found out that there was no known way to break the curse. Luckily, she has moved in with her and Pinky is constantly monitoring it, Tetra finds it almost annoying.
Notes
- I don't care that she is really a Gemini, I just want her to be a Libra
- I am unsure if this is the best choose, Python/Safari/scale/Wildclaw:
- Wasp/Metallic/Spines
