Delightful Dragonet

"Hmm. This place looks like it could use some... REDECORATING!"

Lenny is the weapons/combat expert of the Delightful Dragonets From Down the Lane, an exclusive and very close clique consisting of himself, Bruce, Constance, Alessandra, and David. Why exactly they call themselves that is only known to them, although most of the Reversal Pack thinks Father and his helicopter parenting have something to do with it. One thing's for certain, though; the Delightfuls have this weird habit of moving and talking in perfect unison (the latter of which they do in monotone), and by the Shadowbinder is it creepy.

Lenny is arguably the most unhinged of the Delightfuls, often staying up late into the day to work on new ways to destroy stuff. His Beastclan upbringing means that he learned various survival tactics in a very un-Dragonlike way, although he harbors a deep hatred for the creatures that kept him from being a normal Hatchling and has yet to truly trust one. He has a genuinely good heart and a brain bigger than you'd expect, but Shadowbinder help you if he gets mad at you.

The Delightfuls often find themselves at odds with Sector V, a ragtag gang of Dragonets from the nearby Moonlit Grove Clan, who claim to be part of a super-secret organization of Dragonets united to put an end to "adult tyranny", whatever the heck that's supposed to mean. Sector V blames the Delightfuls for absolutely anything that goes wrong in either Clan, going so far as to "lay siege" to their hatchday parties just to steal the cake. Among them all, Lenny and his "nemesis" Wally are arguably the most alike - all the more reason to hate each other.

"Yeah, the DND are annoying, but you ever met their hamsters?
Buncha jerky little hairballs, those things."

Kenny is Lenny's Familiar, and the weapons/combat expert of the Sinister Felines From Atop the Litterbox (which consists of the Delightfuls' Familiars). Kenny is essentially a mirror image of his master; destructive and somewhat crazy, but smarter and kinder than you'd initially believe. Although personally, he has no strong feelings one way or the other about the Beastclans.

The Pack's Familiars often don't interact with the Sinisters, likely due to them sharing the same creepy "talking and moving in sync" habit as their masters. Not like Kenny - or anybody else - particularly cares.

History

Lenny's Egg didn't hatch in a warm, cozy Nest like it should have. Rather, it was in the potentially worst possible place for a Hatchling - or a Dragon of any age - to ever be: right in the coils of Varrik, an infamous Serthis warlord and leader of a multi-race Beastclan band, known for his extreme hostility towards Dragons. Varrik had wanted a spy to infiltrate Dragon Clans, one that would never be suspected; when he received reports of a Nest full of potential candidates in a nearby Earth Clan, Varrik himself snuck into the territory and stole an Egg right out from under their noses.

Lenny's life with Varrik's Clan is something he never, ever talks about. Seriously. If you ask him about it, he'll just flat-out ignore you. If anything, he acts like he didn't even exist before being found by Father. And only his family knows why he always keeps his face hidden, but they refuse to elaborate on it. Speculation is abound, of course, and many have drawn their own conclusions, but with the young Nocturne's adamant avoidance of the subject, no one's theories have gotten close to eliciting anything vaguely resembling acknowledgement out of him.

But whatever happened, the little Hatchling eventually found himself in the Southern Icefield, far up into the Cloudscrape Crags. It was here that, in the dead of night, he found himself waking up in the protective, unusually warm hold of an Imperial with glowing yellow eyes and scales as dark as a bottomless pit. Frightened and confused, the Nocturne tried to get away, but the mysterious new Dragon only responded with soothing words and gentle reassurances that everything was okay. Once they had flown far into the Frigid Floes, the Hatchling had calmed significantly, and the Imperial took the chance to explain himself.

The Clan had set up camp not too far from the Imperial's, just over a small ridge. The Imperial, Benedict, was going to come over to see what all the ruckus was about, but had noticed the Hatchling among them - and he didn't need to be a genius to guess what a tiny Nocturne Hatchling would be doing with a hostile Beastclan. He also didn't need to be a genius to know a tiny Nocturne Hatchling didn't belong with a hostile Beastclan. The Hatchling didn't fully understand, but Benedict assured him not to worry about it, and instead asked where his family was. The Hatchling could only shrug and shake his head, but again, the older Dragon calmed his worries.

"I guess I'll have to be your family, then," he said with a smile.

The Hatchling, now named Lenny by Benedict, was only the first. In time Benedict would bring four more Hatchlings into his care: a Tundra named Constance, a Pearlcatcher named Alessandra, a Ridgeback named David, and a Fae named Bruce. Benedict, or Father, as he taught them to call him, did surprisingly well for a first-time parent raising five Hatchlings all on his own. Some say he did a little too well, though, considering how his "Delightful Dragonets", as he liked to call them, grew up rather sheltered and a bit too dependent on their father.

A problem had plagued Father and his Dragonets ever since he first adopted them. Agents of the Dragonets Next Door - a secret worldwide organization of Dragonets united to battle against "adult tyranny" - had been relentlessly hounding them day and night. They claimed that Father was trying to create a Sornieth ruled by adults (which honestly sounds pretty redundant once you get right down to it), and he had kidnapped and brainwashed the Delightful Dragonets to help him do it.

The worst among the DND were the operatives of Sector V, who had decided to make it their sworn duty to steal the Delightful Dragonets' hatchday cake whenever one of their hatchdays rolled around. They claimed that since the Delightfuls wouldn't willingly share the cake with anyone else, they didn't deserve to have any themselves. Never mind the fact that most Dragonets found them creepy and avoided them at all costs.

After years of endless persecution from Sector V and the rest of the DND, everything suddenly fell deathly silent. Father and the Delightfuls decided to use this as an opportunity to move again; they had never settled down with a Clan, instead opting to constantly be moving all across Sornieth. A moving target is harder to hit, after all.

But the long flight from the Sunbeam Ruins to their intended destination in Dragonhome took them over the Tangled Wood - just as a nasty storm began to rage. After nearly getting hit by lightning, and constantly fearing for his Dragonets' lives, Father led them down to the ground and found a small cave dug into the side of a huge rock.

When the storm passed the next evening, the Imperial and his Dragonets found themselves surrounded by Dragons, wide-eyed and bushy-tailed despite it being roughly midnight. From among these Dragons, an obsidian-black Guardian stepped out and introduced himself as Alpha Illusion, leader and founder of the Reversal Pack. He then asked who they were and what they were doing in Anomaly Crater.

After getting an explanation, Alpha Illusion offered them to stay in Anomaly Crater to hide out from the organization that wanted their heads. He explained that the giant rock, Mount Mystery, radiated some sort of otherworldly energy that kept the valley hidden from the rest of Sornieth... except when it chose to attract potential members of the Reversal Pack. It took some persuasion, but Father eventually caved and agreed that he and the Delightfuls would join the Clan.

Things went well for the first couple of weeks, and then the Reversal Pack had an inter-clanial meeting with the nearby Moonlit Grove Clan. The Delightfuls had only just walked into the Great Cavern when they were attacked by some familiar faces: Sector V of the Dragonets Next Door. The situation pretty much went completely downhill from there.
It wasn't until several members of both Clans managed to restrain the ten agitated Dragonets that the Delightfuls learned why the DND had stopped tracking them: they hadn't been picked up by the DND's global satellite network for months. Despite their very vocalized disgust at their Clan being allies with the one that harboured their sworn enemies, the Delightfuls and Sector V reluctantly agreed to Illusion and Yoshi's terms: to not let their rivalry go so far as to willingly kill each other.

Of course, the terms didn't apply for simple acts of putting the other team out of commission. To this day, Sector V and the Delightful Dragonets From Down the Lane frequently butt heads over a large variety of reasons: from petty acts of revenge, to missing Clan members, to simply causing mischief. Like always, their rivalry piques on the Delightfuls' hatchdays, but now the entire Reversal Pack helps protect the cake and gets a fair share of it in return. Of course, Sector V thinks it's all a trick.

Somehow, yet another rumor has been spreading among the ranks of the DND: this time that the Delightfuls have some kind of connection to Sector Z, a group of operatives who "went missing" in action twenty years ago. Supporters of this theory point to the Delightfuls' mysteriously Lightning-blue eyes as the telltale sign, claiming that the color has something to do with the "incident" Sector Z was "lost" in. The good news is, Sector V doesn't believe it; if they did, they'd leave the Delightfuls alone even less than they already do.

The bad news is... the Delightfuls seem to know something they're not sharing...
