B I O G R A P H Y llith refuses to say where Kadynth and her came from. Of course Kadynth does not remember anything about anything before the clan but it doesn't stop others from trying to ask him. Illith will only say that she left her original home in order to find her charge, but most suspect that to be a lie. Illith became a mother and found that this was her charge. The idea of protecting and starting her own clan was inspiring to her. She found that the clan would be her charge. As the clan grew she became happier and happier. She was known by the dragons in her clan to be an aloof but caring leader but when dragons from other clans visited on diplomatic missions, she became stern and trustworthy to allies. The clan became a safe haven for dragons of different flights looking for a new clan and Illith was very willing to let them in, growing the clan further. Kadynth and Illith where proud leaders and now even grandparents. They decided to have one more nest. This time they only had one hatchling named Avid. Illith instantly grew attached and wanted her to lead if Illith ever died and began training her daughter. This unfortunately never happened. On a normal outing Avid was poisoned and died shortly after. Illith was incensed and obsessively wanted to find who was responsible. The clan for months after Avid's death became cut off from the rest of the world. No one was allowed to leave the caves and Illith became cold and unwavering. The thought of someone else getting poisoned when she wasn't there to stop it haunted her nightmares. She finally opened up the clan after the food supply began to dry up and Terga pleaded with her to let them hunt again. Trading slowly began to pick up again but it was hard for the clan to recover after even the short isolation. Illith gave up most of her power over her clan and they now make decisions among themselves.

The Meran who Illith allowed to hunt in the area before the incident was instantly under suspicion. Everyone knew how well-versed they are with toxins. Illith refused to even let them cross the border as they had before. Any Meran found on their land was chased out instantly. Quarrels on the border became more and the idea of full-on war crossed the mind of most of the dragons in the clan.

The Wavecrest Saturnalia came around and the clan took a much-needed vacation from the year of stress. They celebrated by feasting and with friendly competitions to compare strength, skills with magic, and speed. The celebrations were cut short when a commotion started near the water entrance for the cave. A Meran claiming to be on a diplomatic mission had come up through the water scaring and angering nearby dragons. Illith became enraged that this creature had disrespected them by disobeying the clan's orders and coming during a sacred festival. He tried to explain but in her rage she almost killed him, only stopping when Kadynth and Tianlor held her back. The Meran explained he was a scholar on a diplomatic mission to find peace and to study magic. Distrusting him, Illith only allowed him to stay if she could watch over his every move.
