One of Tornar's first predictions was about Teolrath. She said that he would lose his ability to move his wings within the next two years. He instantly threw his work into ways to keep this from happening. The magicians, priests, and doctors of the clan all said that there was nothing wrong with him and Tornar had gone insane when she lost her vision. He turned to the machinery the clan was slowly bringing in through trade. He studied and drew maps with the help of Rosegate began constructing something to keep himself moving.

One day when out patrolling with Fervu and Adreg, his body gave out and his siblings had to drag him back to the lair. His mother was distressed and Rosegate helped set up the device that would allow him to walk and fly again. It took him a while to get used to the machines but now he is back to his old self if not a bit more careful around saltwater.

Now, much to his annoyance, you can hear him coming long before you can see him. He must keep his braces constantly maintained to stop him from being rusted in place. Saedok, a new lightning dragon was brought in to help the clan harness what little electricity they can make but ended up trying to teach Teo how to improve his metal parts. Teolrath has refused to just replace the outdated machinery. As much as he wants to deny it, he has grown attached to the exposed metal pipes and gears that help him move.
