LORE TERMS:

SOURCE: original fandom fandragon comes from - sorting is based on the source. dragons can come from the same sources but different universes (such as how protomerlin & merlin can both exist within the same world)

OTHER SIDE: another term for "source", though this refers to the passage between Here (FR) and There (Source)

CAREGIVER: main religion/god, literally just refers to the player [me]. thorn can "hear" the player as she is a dragonsona


GENERAL CLAN SETUP

series of tunnels interconnecting, the deeper within the tunnel system the more closed off/cold. hibden is technically in the lowest possible section that is accessible. there is a "portal" which is the lore reason for fandergs, sometimes they're called "Otherworlders" or "Source Dragons". these "otherworlders" are treated just as normal dragons would be, but still retain memory of their original source (though some have foggier recollections than others). when they arrive at the Snow Den they are given up to a month before their role and job title must be assigned to them -- if they have not decided by then, they are tasked to go around and be an assistant to others until they decide.


"Consorts" refer to those who are to become leader once Thorn steps down, there are approximately 8 in line as of right now (though once you get past the third one, it's really only a symbolic title more than anything else). they are very respected and often have jobs within the court already. the Snow Den is often divided into two groups however -- merlin supports & edelgard supporters. despite merlin being First Consort, many believe edelgard to be better suited for the role of leader. nobody really says this however, as thorn currently has no plans to step down (and has made this clear many, many times)
