Biography

QUETZALI
The Healer Reborn
UTXZiAX.png
Empathetic/Knowledgeable/Dedicated
LIGHT_2.png Quetzali has few memories of her childhood, but she is sickened by everything she can recall.

Something was wrong with her when she hatched. Her Light-bound obsession with knowledge and study was alive and well, but for all the wrong reasons. She spent every moment studying life: how long it lasts, how to end it, and what methods can be used to strip its will to go on. It was said that her old familiar, a Hydra Scorpion, could use its venom to turn her experiments into zombies.

One experiment went too far, even for Quetzali. She mutilated her beloved familiar, wondering if it could revive itself. How strong would the venom be? Could it reattach limbs? Or would it just be a living nervous system? ...When will it start to work? It should be moving by now. Did... Did I...?

Days passed until Quetzali was approached by the clan's shaman, Sorrel. He knew that she had finally gone too far; destroying the one thing she loved because of a duty she felt she was bound to. He gave its remains a proper burial and blessing, all while Quetzali sat stock-still, her mind in another realm.

Quetzali remembers waking up in a soft bed with beams of sunlight kissing her face through the canopy. She knows her clan, she knows her name, and she knows that she's safe... But everything else is obscured by fog.

She had been given a second chance, and she wanted nothing more than to take it and give her utmost thanks to the world.

With the help of kind souls like Sorrel and Kapdohr, Quetzali dedicated herself to a life of healing and rebirth. Unlike the more frightening healer of the clan (Kelly, cough cough), she has no desire to experiment or test on her patients; instead, she'll do all it takes to heal, comfort, and renew.
