Biography
Fever
Collaborated forging armor and weapons to supply the Fire Revolution.
Young, Ambitious, Hardworking, but enjoys company of energetic people that may or may not accidentally destroy all of her workshop and advanced projects.
Has secret correspondence with her master Harkr, even if it's prohibited for anyone to send correspondence without revision of Kwajah.
She writes a lot, enjoying to put her passionate feelings about her work into poems and song lyrics she then burns in the same workshop she dedicates those poems to. Alamir called those "Love-letters to the Fire" trying to mock her, but she and then everyone agreed it is a very fitting way to call those poems. Humma is always specially jolly around Alamir (and Alamir tends to be specially grumpy around Humma) as they both remember his mockery-attempt backfiring.
She was kinda easy to indoctrinate as was still young and naive by her arrival, and seems like Harkr did some previous spoon-feeding of plague philosophies, which proliferated in mid of Fire's civil war.
Harkr was sent to the sanctuary to forge weapons for plaguebringer's children. Asked Hum to replace him, and made the connections so she was accepted within the clan.
Restored Harkr forge. Main blacksmith of the clan, seems to do better than her master and previous blacksmith of the clan.
Helped to build Kahrab's workshop. Enjoys the company of Kahrab, even if he may or may not accidentally destroy their workshop and all of their advanced projects due to his overly-energetic personality. They enjoy rebuilding the stuff tho.
Hearing of the legend of the crosses, Hum wishes to replicate a cross' weapon, or create a new one by herself. Forged the un-wield-able Blade of Bone. No, srsly, it's a pain to wield it, guess it's useless in combat.
Why.
(art by drytil)
As the forge is always burning in her workshop, she wears a beak-mask to lessen the amount of toxic and magic fumes inhaled, plus goggles to never take her eye out of her most delicate metalwork.
In the heat and hardwork she may get to such high temperatures working with the strongest of minerals, that she often wraps herself with bandanas and other wraps to take the sweat out of the way.
It can also be noticeable how the dark soot of her forge has been slowly darkening her armor, tarnishing her steel gloves, masks and gorget. She is rather proud of that, and wears her tarnished equipment proudly to show how much time she has been in charge of the forge.
