Rhode's occupation is a little unorthodox, even within the ranks of the Hezul Mercenaries, but she's by no means useless. Many crystals sell for a good chunk of money, and they can sell for even more compared to the resources used in their creator, if you swindle a particularly naive dragon into purchasing a pile of fool's gold instead of the real thing, to add to their prestigious hoard. She's often found in the library researching her next spells, or travelling around Sornieth to put on magnificent shows of arcane magic for the hatchlings who want to see just what a magician can do. The Imperial was left as a child in a small tangle of brambles, due to the magnificent shine her scales seemed to have- refracting far too much light for the surrounding creatures to really tolerate. This didn't particularly bother her, considering how the stars would entrance her regardless, light shining through her scales and creating a show of her own design.
