There was once a young Mirror who wandered the plains of the Windswept Plateau by herself, and not in a pack with other Mirrors. Having no memory of her past, the only thing she had was alchemical tools and a journal filled with mysterious formulas. With these in hand, she searched-

Oh? No, never mind. Apparently she didn’t care much about her lost memories. Er, let’s just move on, shall we?

Hailey is the leader and founder of Clan Skylark, and shares this role with her mate, Yarrow. She also acts as the clan’s alchemist and is passionate about alchemy. This sometimes leads to her forgetting about her responsibilities and even about food, as she tends to get too distracted by her experiments.

Upon meeting her, the first thing that most dragons note is that she doesn’t act like the typical Mirror. Rather than being quiet and aloof, she can be quite talkative, going as far to drag unsuspecting clan members into her den to discuss alchemy or her ‘pets’. Once the conversation turns to the subject of food, they know it’s time to start making excuses and leave. Thinking the conventional way of cooking to be boring, Hailey has turned to alchemy instead. Her food usually comes out covered in goo and tasting overly sweet. It has also been known to cause nausea, headaches, the occasional hallucination and other unsavoury and unpredictable sideffects.

At least no-one has died.

Hailey’s den is not just filled with alchemical supplies. From food hoards and confused hunters, she has managed to save snakes and lizards. As they are similar to dragons, she is fascinated by them and despite it being strange to the rest of the clan, she refuses to eat them. In fact, her preferred food is seafood.

As said before, Hailey really doesn’t care about getting her memories back. To her, it’s an opportunity to restart her life. The only thing she knows and takes seriously is the protection of her journal; it must not fall into the wrong hands, and she refuses to let anyone in the clan, save for Charon, read it.
