Biography

Excerpt from my book

Silver padded next to her Tyro, Flame. Flame bounced up and down, excitement fizzing in her paws. Silver's jaw ached as her eyes or well eye searched camp, wolves saw the long gray wolf and whispered respectfully before dipping their heads. Flame stared at her mentor in awe, the russet female's fur spiked in excitement.
"You cry in your sleep," Flame barked, her voice was excited, but her eyes showed her worry for her mentor.
"Flame, I get it," Silver said, in a mad, and displeased tone. She knew her tyro's heart was in the right place but still. She stared into the distant forest, her mind wandering. 'Gray' was all she could think, 'if only I could remember' she sighed, her blue eye sad. "Let's go hunt, shall we?" The gray she-wolf asked, forcing a smile to her face.
After spending most her time hunting and practicing battle moves, Silver decided to send her tyro to camp to relax the evening away. The two wolves had done excellent hunting, and even caught a blue jay and baby heron. "These are rare finds," Silver had explained, trying to be proud of her wholeheartedly, but, she failed.
The gray wolf then decided to sneak away from camp, she needed to, she had no choice. "Gray. Gray. Gray." She repeated, trying so hard to piece that name with a wolf face. She couldn't match anyone's description. 'Please understand Sun-Pack, I will live to regret it if I can't find him. I will.' She thought as she each paw step brought her closer to Sun-Pack territory and farther away from her's.
"Name," one of the Sun-Pack entrance guards asked, his eyes staring at Silver.
"Silverstar of Moon-Pack," Silver replied, her voice hiding away her terror.
"Oh, um, Delta, please, what can I do for you?" The guard asked, his bored voice escaping, and his respectful voice showing.
"Please allow me please allow me to pass into your camp," Silver replied, her chest puffed out to make her look taller.
"Of course, but for what purpo-"
"That is not a question you should be asking," Silver hissed, cutting him off with a sharp voice, her eyes narrowed, she stared at him with hard eyes. Her blue eye narrowed, and her gray eye closed. Yet, all the guard did was nod and allow her passage into the camp.
Following straight behind the gray guard who had said his name was Falconbeak (Falcon), she apologized for being rude and cutting him off. "Delta, I understand why you cut me off," he explained, "I should know my place, and I know you're not here to cause trouble," Falcon smiled as they both set their paws into the true camp of Sun-Pack.
Silver looked around her eye shining in the sunlight, 'he wouldn't be here...would he?' She thought, her paws moving slow and worry hanging over her like a bare-fur trap over a caught Wolf.
"Oh?" Flowersky, Sun-Pack leader inquired. "Hello Silverstar of Moon-pack, how may I help you today?"
"Ah hello Alpha; I'm sorry about the sudden intrusion, do you...do you maybe have a wolf in your pack named Gray?" She whispered, her voice quiet.
"Gray? He's my younger brother, why?" The Alpha said, tipping her light gray head.
"I-I had to thank him," her voice was dipping into hysteria. She remembered him! Gray! Her best friend before...'before I was a tyro.' She thought sadly, staring up at Flowersky. As if she understood, she nodded to a wolf near her who dipped his head and dashed away. Seconds later Gray arrived, his silky fur shining in the sunlight, and his Amber eyes bright. Silver just kept on staring, her eye mesmerized.
"Greetings Sister," Gray said, looking directly at her. His Amber eyes were then turned to Silver. '5 years I had to wait for you,' he thought, a smile on his face. Turning to his sister, he nodded and padded away with the silver-gray she-wolf inches behind.
‘Would he be mad, that I didn’t meet him after I was a tyro?’ She thought, worry making her heart hurt.
“5 years and I missed you each and every one of those days,” he whispered, sadness clouding his thick voice. All Silver could do however was whine and paw the floor.
“I waited after that when you said you’d come back, but...but you never came back. I heard you were made tyro that day, I then waited to hear the news from you...but you never showed up. My dear Silver-,” he turned his dark gray head to look her in the eye, “I missed you.”
“I forgot you, everything...I forgot.” She hung her head sadly, “I’m so pathetic to call you my best friend,” she sighed. The silvery-gray she-wolf frowned sadly and leaned her head on Gray’s chest, the worry and sadness that had been with her for so long finally falling.
"Aww, you're still the sweet little crybaby I knew years ago," Gray whispered, nuzzling his nose against her ear. Silver couldn't understand what he said until she felt moisture dripping from her eyes. 'You stupid mangy mutt' she thought, cursing herself for showing weakness.
"I'm just trying to understand what's going on," she murmured, lifting her head up from his chest, tears falling faster from her eyes.
"Hey Silver, there isn't any need to cry, I-I missed you too. It's okay if you forgot me, you were still the one who scoped me out." He whispered, trying to make her stop crying. All Silver could do, however, was smile and continue crying.
"Silver...I must go..." Gray whispered, quietly shifting his position away from her. Silver sadly nodded, 'he wouldn't want to be with me, I'm a fool for thinking that.' She thought, the urge she felt falling. Silver got up sighed,

"Bye," was all she could manage before turning around and heading back, away from Gray, away from the one wolf who had healed her broken heart.

‘Yet,’ they both thought, ‘something’s coming. An arrow in the dark, a flash of fire in the gray sky.’[/b]
