Although never wanting kids of his own, Jake has always had an adoration for the little ones in the Oasis. Jake was always more like an uncle to the hatchlings, taking care of them while their parents or adoptive family was out. Thanks to this, he's always been able to learn how to calm down hatchlings of all kinds, regardless of their problems. His large figure is never as intimidating as most think, and Hatchlings love climbing all over him. Jake also has become a rather good baker, his little wooden house often smelling like cookies or healthier alternatives. He makes sure to assist struggling parents, and give plenty of healthy tips. Because of this ability to help the younger members of the clan, Jake has also been able to help those with many mental struggles, just in providing a safe and happy space for some of them.
