We met him in this thread, during Thundercrack Carnivale 2018 (click on link) : Mainframe's Mysterious Mechanical Matter Metamorpher !

Mate : Néreis

When decided to come with us, he wasn't so sure of what he should do. For now, he works as assistant engineer for Hylean in the airships and became a part of the crew, but he is still looking for what he really wants to do.
He is very happy to discover a wind clan and the windy way of life that he tries his best to honour.

I already offered him to join our explorers but didn't dare to do it for now.

He still goes unnamed and that's rather a problem because we would like to know how to call him, but he doesn't know how he wants to be called. He is still looking for his name...

Finally, Elithe decided to offer him to become his assistant and to work with him on his sea ship as notetaker and helping talon for salling and negotiating.
He decided to try, as he wantedto find his place in the clan.
Half explorer, half engineer, taking notes and counting treasures, wind in the wings and water under, the merchant assistant discovered on sea and air parts of the world he adored, but without taking the risks the explorers usually faced.
He finally decided to take the job full time, and Elithe is very pleased with him.

Elithe gifted him a rare cosmo gecko he negotiated as a pet to welcome him in his new life.
That's at this moment he decided to take a name as he would need it to represent Elithe and the clan properly.
He choose Mervan as he wanted his name to reflect his love for the sea and wind.
If you read his name in French it displays the french words for "sea" and "wind".

That's how he met Nereis. The Water Ambassador was glad to follow them during their journeys and slowly, she became closer to Mervan.
