Origins - Runestone is a bit older than Archad, having been brought to the clan by Dreame when he was a teenager rather than a hatchling. But, he did not help his adopted mother with duties taking care of his adopted brothers and sisters, much as she would have liked him to. Instead, he moped around, sulking about how much he missed his real mother. Runestone loved his mother and father very much, and it was heartbreaking when they sent him away. But as he retreated into himself, he read books in his spare time- And became an excellent tactician, able to beat any dragon in chess.

Eyes - Before Dreame left, she established one key principle that her children most always follow: Only dragons born of the Arcane flight were allowed to hold positions of power, as she did not trust dragons of other flights. But Archad could not bring himself to follow this absurd rule. Runestone was a brilliant strategist, and would be perfect to lead their warriors into battle. One day, when Runestone and Archad were out hunting, they killed a wolf, and Archad suggested that Runestone wear the pelt of the wolf. Runestone agreed, and was able to cover up his icy eyes, allowing Archad to appoint him Chief Military Adviser under the assumption that he was an Arcane dragon. Only three dragons know of this secret, Archad, Raina, and Chryss, and will keep it until they die. No new clan members are allowed to know, but Dreame, after returning, has become suspicious.

Personality - Runestone is a quiet, calculating dragon that does nothing without plenty of thought first. He will always know how to best an opponent in a fight because of this, striking every blow at the perfect time to take advantage of any weaknesses his opponent may have. He does not mean to be, but he is quite cold and unfeeling to most dragons, having not yet found a mate that would melt his heart. He does not take jokes well, nor does he laugh. It is a common dare among hatchlings to try and get Runestone to laugh.

Relationships - Runestone has many admirers among female dragons, but no desire to enter into any sort of relationship at the moment, as it would distract him from his work. Additionally, he does not know if a mate would keep his secret. Runestone completely trusts Archad, Chryss, and Raina, and is good friends with Kirakiro, as they work together a lot. Sometimes he treats Yumino as a son, as he reminds Runestone of himself as a child, and wants the best for him. He is quite distant with his actual sons, Santorai and Kirakiro, though he realizes that it’s probably better that way.

Clan Role - As the chief military adviser, Runestone is in charge of deciding when and how to attack, as well as advising Archad if it is wise to enter into war. Most of the time, however, he just organizes hunting parties since wars don't happen often.

Magic - Runestone is very skilled in Ice magic, however, since it would be suspicious to use such spells so frequently, he has been learning Arcane magic from Archad, and now uses it skillfully enough to fool any dragon into thinking he was a born natural. When he is alone or with people he can trust, however, he prefers to use Ice magic, as that is what feels best to him.
