CAPTAIN OF THE GUARD

”LOUD AND PROUD”
Origins - Kirakiro is the son of Runestone and Archad's estranged daughter, Ilyfi. After his mother ran away and left him and his brother, Santorai, behind, he decided right then and there that he didn't care if he had a mother or a father- He was going to learn to adapt, and he would be strong for his shy little brother, who he vowed to protect with his life. He trained every day, becoming stronger and stronger, until, finally, his father noticed his efforts and made him captain of the guard. Kirakiro was overjoyed that his efforts had finally paid off, though he cared not what his father thought of him. At least now, he could protect everyone he loved.

Personality - Kirakiro is the polar opposite to his brother- He is loud and charismatic, a friend to everyone in the clan, and a bit of a ladies man. But, he is not arrogant. He is honorable, and respects those who can beat him in combat, as they are few. He knows when it's appropriate to brag and boast, and he almost never has trouble deciding to do the "right" thing. Runestone reminds him constantly that he still has much to learn. And, while he doesn't always like to listen to his father, Kirakiro admits that he is right.

Relationships - Kirakiro loves his brother Santorai deeply, though, try as he might, he cannot get him to participate more in clan activities. So, he respects his brother's wishes and leaves him alone when he requests it. Kirakiro's relationship with his father is icy. He had long ago renounced Runestone, deciding that he didn't need a father to be successful, especially if that father didn't want to care for him in the first place. Kirakiro respects Runestone as his superior commander, but that is where the politeness ends.

Outside of family, Kirakiro often has trouble restraining his young apprentice, Sunsetter, but they do get along well and she (usually) listens to his advice. Her hyperactive Spiral brain sometimes clashes with his slow, more calculated thoughts, but they work it out. Kirakiro's best friend is Glysocollo- They have fought many battles alongside each other, and often share stories of exasperation with the women in their lives. Fickle creatures, females are.

Clan Role - The Clan of Magic Rose used to not have many enemies, but, ever since the attacks from a nearby Talonok group kept increasing, they have been forced to defend their borders harder than ever before. Kirakiro organizes border patrols, comprised of the clan's best mages and warriors. He also occasionally leads attacks against the Beastclan's camp, and is in charge of training exercises to keep his warriors in shape.

Magic - If he is to be honest, and he always is, Kirakiro does not specialize in magic. He knows a few basic Arcane spells, but other than that, he prefers to handle conflict with his sword and claws, getting physical with an enemy and also attempting to slice them with the sharp tips of his armor.
