Athene

She and her partner were once mighty warriors, but after an Emporer attack devastated her clan, leaving them as the only two, bloody survivors, they resorted to a life of scavenging for what they could. Athene is a battle medic, a warrior skilled in quick healing spells and in long-term medical practices.

Both her and her partner suffered horrifying would to the face, and now wear masks at all times to hide the horror from others. They came to the Clan of Magic Roses because they heard rumors that the dragons of Arcane were offering refuge to survivors of Emporer attacks. This rumor turned out to be false, but Archad took them in, anyways.

Their relationship is a silent one, always understanding the pain of the other without ever saying a word. Her partner is a mute, his vocal cords damaged beyond magical repair, and thus, she must speak for him. They have a system of communication between them that no one else understands- Poetic dragons might call it “The lover’s speech”.
