Amara is an oracle of sorts. She was given the gift of visions of the future. She uses her visions to help the clan Patriarch and Matriarch keep peace with the dragons and beasts within their surroundings. She protects the clan from surprise threats and dangers.

There's a mystery to the clan oracle that freshly grabs the attention of her clanmates when she walks by. No one exactly knows where she came from, no one besides the clan leaders. She's friendly enough and her smile is always welcoming. In her presence, there is always an odd chill. Like a whisper in one's mind of a memory that one could swear she was a part of, but isn't clearly visible in the flashback.

In truth, her journey from the lands of the Stormcatcher was started because of her peculiar ability. A dragon under watch of the Stormcatcher who's work is constantly interrupted by visions was seen more as a nuisance than useful, especially to her small, overworked clan. The oracle was never cast out, however. She was treated fairly, despite the opinions of some. It was her unhappiness that made her choose to leave. Amara wanted something more than to be an inconvenience. She wanted to live a calmer life, one that didn't depend on making other unhappy. Put simply, she wanted to feel that she fit in somewhere, to feel useful.

When she finally stumbled into the edges of the Gladekeeper's domain, Amara had traveled her way across the Sunbeam Ruins and through a short expanse of the Tangled Wood, just to be sure she didn't pass up a forever home in either region. She found Orik, the Gladepool Nurturer's patriarch, while he was strolling along the edges of their territory with his mate, Arya. She was clearly exhausted after an especially long night of trying to keep herself safe while her visions came and went. The oracle wouldn't realize it till later, but her visions had led her to Orik and Arya and she was warmly welcomed. Arya spent several days healing and restoring Amara, and with explanation of her purpose, she was offered a sound place within the small Nature clan.

From then, Amara's abilities were proven very useful as she helped to prepare for surprise beastclan attacks and defenses against hostile rogue dragons. She settled easily within their numbers and grew to become very popular, despite her intimidating aura.
