Daughter of the Dawn
The child of the parentless and the youngest of the first Gaoler clutch to ever be born in the clan, Dawn is quiet, strong, and fiercely loyal. With a soft voice and gentle eyes, she is surprisingly strong-willed and protective, waiting diligently at the edge of the outpost for her parents' return. Responsible for herding any hatchlings that wander off back to their parents and keeping unwanted intruders out, she's taken up the mantle of guardian and sentry to the Outpost. Not dissimilar in role to her younger brother, she patrols around the Outpost with her light when the weather is dangerous or night has fallen, guiding lost travelers to safety- though on other days, her silhouette sits perfectly still on the horizon. Waiting.
She has begun carrying around a small, glowing gemstone, claiming that the light would call to her mother and help keep the Shade away from her home. Either way, it seemed to have called something else... though nobody's sure she's even noticed the wisp nervously darting about behind her. Should we tell her? Nah, that'd ruin the fun. In the end, at least the gemstone- and Dawn- is safe.
