_____Shruiken, by an outsider, may be mistaken for a very realistic statue. They're generally nigh motionless and silent, sitting nearby Jairo and Whisper, guarding them. Shruiken is a keeper of abandoned familiars - those companions who are no longer cared for, by choice or tragedy; he, despite his unnerving behaviors, gets along fantastically with all of the familiars, and is dearly beloved by them. Shuriken is closest, however, to their own familiar: a crystal carrier which appears and vanishes seemingly at random - sometimes visible to all, sometimes only to them - a perfectly spooky match for its companion. His partners, Jairo and Whisper, also help out with his job when they're not attending their own; both of them are also well-liked among the familiars. It is largely unknown whether Shruiken is silent by choice or mute, though most favor the former theory.
