Corn

CORN
Corn has a massive corn farm which runs for miles, you can't seem to ever see the end, you wonder where it ends. You forget what you're thinking about as you try to enter the field. Almost as soon you try to step foot in the field a small corn snake darts out from inbetween the stalks.
"What are you doing? Trying to enter our field?" He has a voice but his mouth is not moving. You know it is his voice, but not how it is his voice. How do you know he is a he?
You stare into his unblinking eyes and try to speak but you can't open your mouth here, you're not from the field.
"Come with me."
He darts back into the field and your body moves without your control. You walk for three years before you come to a stop at a small cottage. A sign labeled simply 'CORN' swings in the wind, the same wind that sways the stalks and passes you by on its way to deeper fields.
A guardian slinks out of the cottage, but the door looks too small for him to have passed through.
"Are you here for corn?" He grumbles.
You don't reply.
"Come with me!" The corn snake's voice yells at you again.
You pass through the door, which has grown in size to be at least 10 miles high, and into the small home.
Your body sits down at a table, that looks like a normal table, and scoots itself in to fit perfectly along the table.
"Corn?" The snake asks.
You don't reply.
The guardian sits a plate of steaming hot corn down in front of you, and leans into the chair adjacent to you.
You look down at the corn.
