Biography

Kaley is from a long line of warriors dating back to the earliest dragons. The Clan of Rhodes has trained Paladins since practically the beginning of dragon-kind to protect all of dragon-kind. They are not one clan, or even one Flight, and they do not worship any one god. But rather they worship them all and are not interested in interFlight fighting or politics. The Clan of Rhodes is interested in protecting all dragons, no matter their Flight or species. It is thought that the Clan of Rhodes was originally founded to defend dragon-kind against the Shade and Emperors but has expanded its protection against the rising Beastclan aggressions. They will turn no dragon down if they are in need of help.

Kaley was born to the Clan of Rhodes and trained to be a paladin like all of the Rhodes’ before her. She has a natural talent to lead and fight and as she was born under the Lightning Flight she has a highly analytical mind.

While not the first born of her family she is considered the heir of the Clan of Rhodes and was trained to become Matriarch once he father had passed on. For a while she was excited to do just that. That didn’t last and as Kaley grew older she no longer wanted to be apart of the Clan. Shortly after she was grown she fled the Clan to find her own way in the world. She eventually came to the Windshear Caravan and settled down.

The Caravan is a far-cry from her old family. Within the Clan of Rhodes everything is serious and carried out with great gravity and not a little pomp and circumstance. The Caravan is a Wind clan. A giant Wind clan who are constantly doing a hundred things at once and take nothing seriously! For a short while Kaley didn’t know how she fit within the Caravan itself and was listless before she joined the Caravan guard.

From there she rose quickly till she was at the top and was named Captain of the Guard. She takes her job seriously but also understands that those she protects are Wind dragons to their core and that they do things she might not totally understand. She is strict with her men though and with the arrival of her brother John she’s started to shape her guards into a bit more of an intimidating

Despite the civil war the Dragonlord took to a nest with her mate. To make sure they all don't die she said. The eggs were had in secret and sent off to friendly clans where the young dragons could live without fear of dying. They were each accompanied by a bodyguard of unconventional means to ensure they were kept safe.
