B I O G R A P H Y

Cygnus was born different. That is putting it at it's very simplest. He was born with a condition, known by many names across Sornieth. Ice, Shadow and Plague flights know it as Death's Touch. Arcane, Water and Light call it the Seer's Mark. Nature, Wind and Earth refer to it as Chaos Curse. Fire and Lightning flight dragons just get straight to the point and call it Overload. It basically means that Cygnus is so attuned to his fire magic that he is unable to fully control it, causing it to flow out from him randomly in dangerous bursts of heat and flame. He simply has so much raw magic burning inside of him that he has to channel it constantly or it will consume him.

Cast off by his birth clan for being "dangerous" and "unpredictable", far too dangerous for their small and peaceful clan to handle, Moonlord was quick to take advantage of the young, scared hatchling and his family. In exchange for a small sum of treasure, Moonlord was allowed to take the problem out of their claws, and further his own plans in the process. Cygnus himself isn't sure what those plans actually are, and is fairly certain he doesn't want to know. Moonlord just rubs him the wrong way. He tends to stay away from the Guardian, usually choosing to remain down in his forge, a room too small for a dragon of that size to enter.

When actually in the presence of other people, Cygnus is... touchy, at best. All of his emotions are powerful and explosive, but for his anger this especially rings true. Due to his dangerous nature, his workshop is closed off from the rest of the Wispwalkers, open only to other members of the Armourers. Even then, Snakescale insists that even his guildmates don't know how large the complex is, owing to the fact that it's the deepest area of the Wispwalker's underground, and he could theoretically go as far down as he wanted. Some dragons are growing suspicious of what he would be doing with all that space, and why he could possibly need it.
