Ilmatar
A notorious sky pirate who had paid for her greatest treasure with her greatest gift. Victory and Defeat are now, to her, both lost to memory. Life, however – on the edge of the horizon – visions of darkness – flicks –

We can't die, no we can't die,
It doesn't even matter if we try.
We fear/hate the living, we shun the light,
Our beloved tombs keep us sheltered inside.
Sleep ... sleep is the brother of death,
So lie down beside this skeleton in the coldness of the grave,
Let the embrace of his dead arms keep you all save and sound.
Buried in slumber ... silently ... Forever beneath the ground.

Stalk "The night", if that's your wish,
With your foolish garlic-chain and crucifix,
Yet, if you find our graves, we won't be there,
There are thousands of places left for our despair.

Legend says that Ilmatar once roamed the seas just as the skies as no other has ever done; she commanded the currents, the sails, and the terrible taste of gold, and all who saw her, regardless of their flag color, steered their ships away in fear and shame. Ilmatar had conquered the reaches of the world until there was nothing left to take except magic; as such, the magic turned on her, granting her immortality at the price of eternal servitude. Ilmatar now functions as the protector of the artifacts of long lost civilizations, and since the artifacts are currently held by Antumbra and Antares, she has come ashore to reside with both relic and clan.
An exceptionally strong personality, she remains as fearless and powerful as she was in life. The artifact, in claiming her, had erased her common passions, only preserving her indomitable will and martial brilliance. She is now less interested in mortal affairs or desires, but will respond to anything that she considers worthy.
