General Lore

Coming into the clan on account of a deep inner urging, Ulrica does not know why she has landed here, but she is more than content to stay despite her outward show of disdain towards virtually every living thing. She is rebellious but rarely foolish - she prides herself on being wild and free, regularly associating with Beastclans in a fashion deemed by many to be dangerous.

Her Earth heritage has prevented her from completely forgetting tradition, but she has made a good effort to try. She fled from her previous clan when her parents and sister attempted to persuade her to serve the Earthshaker as they soon did, and found the clan on account of intuitive movements that even she cannot fully explain. One theory she has is that her maternal grandfather's devotion to the Plaguebringer and the color of her mother's eyes pushed her towards a destiny serving in a Plague clan with a Plague mate by her side.

She then became the first (and currently the only) female member of the Steampunk Skydancers as soon as she could fit into adult clothes, and as a result found a calling as a member of the Skydancer Scouts - she gets along well with all the members of her group, and despite being young she is known as an exceptional guide with an infallible knowledge of Beastclan movements and territories. She is good friends with Nalia, Ichiko's familiar, and thus acquaintances with the martiarch herself because of it. While some question her loyalty to dragon-kind she is ultimately tied to the clan and would support it should conflict ensue, however unlikely that is.

To the clan she attracted Randolph, and the two were an instant match despite having very different personalities. A rule-maker and a rule-breaker, the two chaotic personalities met and complemented each other so beautifully that it is unlikely they will ever separate. The fact that Randolph is a Plague subspecies is said to have nothing to do with it, but while Ulrica will never admit her affection to anyone but him it is clear that the two are a match made in heaven.

Duty

"You want to know the best places to gather, eh? Well, let me consult my guide and I'll tell you..."

She wanders off, metal wings oddly quiet, and returns after a time, holding a scroll containing elegant but haphazard writing, much of it crossed out, and presents it to you in an impatient way.

"All right, here's your summary.

If you want to hunt go anywhere but Nature, Plague and Wind - ~~If you want to meet a Dunhoof go for Earth, because you'll still have a chance of getting snakes (Amethyst) and skinks (Green-throated).~~ If you want to try and find a Trick of the Light, go for Lightning (Amethyst; Juvenile) or Shadow (Opal; Weird Purple). This only leaves out the possibility of an Onyx Cobra - but you can't have everything. You'll find that snake is in Arcane and Fire.

Fishing... you literally just want to meet a hippojay? Well, that's easy - anywhere but Fire, Shadow, Lightning or Arcane. True Rainbow Trout can be found in Plague, so that makes it the best place to fish - unless you're looking for those fancy blue seahorse things. The yellow ones are in Plague but for the blue ones you'll need to head to Water or Wind. Try to stick around home, though, will you?

For Insect Catching... if you want the nymphs that you're so fond of, try Earth or Wind, since your weird white butterflies found there as well. Your blue butterflies are in Arcane, along with your creepy glowing energy thieves and vibrant prickly moving sticks.

If you want to hunt vegetables (what a warrior), you'll want to try Ice for Cinnamon and Nature/Shadow for Green Shoots and Black Tulips. I say this because you can find a Blue Vein Pansy in Nature or Shadow, and an Orange Blotch Pansy in Ice, so either way you're set. Oh - your precious Jasmine is also in Nature, along with your Cliff Lions, Maidens Blush, Gradish and Jungle Grass. You hoard far too many plants - just an observation.
