Cloudsong

Sometimes hatchlings of the clan ask Cloudsong: "Where does your magic come from?"

"From the wind, of course," she always answers, kind but not friendly. Though some call her gentle due to her healer's touch, she has little patience for other dragons, oftentimes disappearing into the sky for days at a time.

"Can you ask the wind to teach us?" the hatchlings might ask, if they are of the braver sort.

"You'll have to ask it yourselves, when you're old enough. When you've learned to skip between clouds, maybe, if you're really lucky, it will speak to you."

At this point, Cloudsong will always give the little ones a stern look. "Probably not if you don't learn to keep those feet away from the mud, though!"
