sweet, extrovert, playful, a bit of an airhead. tuber's lifetime mate. healer expecialized in flower essences and cures. became arwen's friend pretty quickly while in the cloudsong, and when she learned arwen founded a clan she joined happily, being a wanderer herself. her potion and gardening skills always come in handy in various first aids.
fell in love with tuber soon after he joined, and is now the proud mother of breeze, the clan's oracle and prodigy child.
she takes it as another sign that she's meant to be where she is.

It's said that Wind dragons never truly settle down in their lives, always off in search of the next great adventure. And while Acacia knows that to be patently untrue, having witnessed quite a few children of the Windsinger at last come to rest, she is still grateful that she is born of the Sunbeam Ruins. Her heritage is precisely what brought her to the Windswept Plateau, and it is the reason she now has all the love she could ever ask for, and then some.
Initially, Acacia arrived in the Windsinger's domain in pursuit of research materials. Never content to sit in the Sunbeam Ruins' vaulted libraries, studying without end, she set out to collect botanical samples useful in herbal remedies. Every region of Sornieth had their own valuable flora, and often, those plants would difficult to grow outside of their native environments. A trip round the world in search of flowers and fronds was just what Acacia needed to appease her restless, eager heart.
Her itinerary was meant to take her across Sornieth in a little under six months, spending just long enough in each region to conduct a base study and collect more common samples. Completing this stage of her research was critical in obtaining the resources to return for more complex, less common plants that might have value in a healer's work. But as it may happen during the early research stages, Acacia had to adjust her plans.
The Windswept Plateau was her first visit, and for two weeks, she kept Arwen company, allowing the Skydancer to guide her through the region and teach her about its flora. They were wanderers together, without a particular place to call home, and in that time, they became fast friends. Arwen shared Acacia's love of adventure, and balanced out her sometimes forgetful mind with a logical, steady approach to all things. By the time Acacia needed to move on to the Shifting Expanse, they'd sworn to write one another with any news.
A month and some later, Arwen wrote to announce that she had founded a clan, and Acacia's curiosity got the better of her. About to begin her studies in the Sea of a Thousand Currents (which was admittedly far too wet for her tastes), she instead returned to the place she'd first met Arwen, only to discover the thriving young seeds of Dandelion Clan taking root.
Sure, research regarding the value of flowering plants in draconic medicine was an important undertaking, but Acacia's heart nearly burst to realize she could chronicle the growth of a brand new clan. Letters flew back and forth between her and the Sunbeam Ruins, proposing and rewriting the drastic change to her research, and she spent hours with Arwen and Gale, obtaining their permission to study Dandelion Clan and record its growth.
An observer's distance is a difficult thing to keep, though, especially with a heart as warm and open as Acacia's. Dandelion Clan grew steadily, as did her ties. She found herself making fewer observations, while more often becoming a participant in the budding clan's activities. Scrapes and bruises were in no short supply in those early stages, and unofficially, she acted as the clan's healer, putting her floral knowledge to work. That skill, coupled with her playful, warm nature, was surely a source of great comfort for the dragons who came to her seeking a healer's touch.
That skill also put her on a collision course with her mate.
She probably would have fallen in love with Tuber eventually, but the towering Imperial was a forager, a talent Dandelion Clan readily welcomed. From the start, he brought her flowers and herbs, simply offering a helping hand with his easygoing charm. But soon enough, he was visiting with flowers meant for display, and she sat on the sidelines while he trained young exaltees to serve the Windsinger and face the Twisting Crescendo with full confidence. They never seemed far from one another's sights, not for long, and it came as no surprise to anyone when Tuber declared full loyalty to Dandelion Clan, followed by a deeper, truer loyalty to Acacia, one only expressed by life mates.
Now, Acacia has the great joy of being the official Dandelion Clan healer (with her own beautiful garden to tend), the loving and beloved mate of Dandelion Clan's premiere forager, and the mother of one of the most talented aeromancers in recent memory. It is not the life she set out to have when she left the Sunbeam Ruins, and occasionally, she feels a bit of guilt for abandoning her scholarly roots. She never did submit the full extent of her research, the floral study or the clan history, but no one has come to trouble her about it, so all must be well.
And it is. She has Tuber by her side, and she has watched Breeze find her confidence day by day, training under Arwen's steady wing. The smell of floral incense permeates her den, and year round, her beautiful garden thrives, swaying in the ever-present wind. She cannot regret a thing.
