Biography
Khamsin [kam-sin]
Named after a hot southerly wind, varying from southeast to southwest, that blows regularly in Egypt and over the Red Sea for about 50 days, commencing about the middle of March.
Khamsin is cold and calculated, intelligent, and always up for a challenge. Much more reserved and quiet than his companion, Simoun, Khamsin was originally raised as royalty, an heir to the throne for his previous clan. However, after his father hired Simoun to kill their rival's king, Khamsin fell in love and hired her to kill his controlling and tyrannical father, then ran away into the desert night with her. He denounced his previous family, leaving his mother and siblings to pick up the pieces and properly lead their clan, but to this day nobody is quite certain which clan he was born from and whomever the clan is has sworn secrecy to protect Khamsin from anyone who still believes in his father's rule. It was he who decided to give the team their name "Fulgurite" after the formations in the sand after a lightning strike, and is generally in charge of anything that requires forethought and planning, such as team finances and sneak attacks. He dreams of one day taming Simoun's wild nature only enough to settle down into a clan, and helping her achieve her dreams.
