Dappled Lightbane, mate of Alruda

Daenero was mated to Alruda before the imperial ever became sick with Shade. Since then, however, she has stuck to her vows and has protected her mate both from others and from harming others. She has failed on both accounts more than once, and as a punishment for one failure she was blinded by a brown and yellow Imperial who died attempting to defend her Coatl lover from Alruda, Daenero caught in the crossfire.

Since Alruda's beheading, Daenero mostly keeps her mate company and calms her.
