____Herb arrived in the Clan fully grown and with plenty of experience under her belt. So when Marcus and Miranda began angling for time with her, and samples from her, and generally being creepy, she knew to give them a wide berth. She also has experience enforcing her boundaries and so has not had many problems. She arrived after Josaphine was born and after Jaala was found, and so far has not attempted to reach out to either of them. It is possible that she doesn't realize how dangerous Miranda and Marcus can be when they have the chance.

____Miranda and Marcus would be the first to tell you that her eyes are indicative of nothing, as the others show no great magical ability, but there is knowledge beyond what they can gather. Whether Herb's eyes are the cause or not, she does have unusual control over her light magic. She mostly uses it to help plants grow in the back caves that she lives in. She grows a large selection of edible food, providing a large part of the crops that the clan eats.
