Geranium

Alchemist apprentice to his father Aquilegia.

Aquilegia had never really thought about females much. He had fertilized Iris egg at her request and had is awesome son, Geranium for the effort, but it had been a task, much like an alchemical reduction was a task. That was all before he met Daffodil. When she came to join the clan with her butterflies flittering about her he had suddenly felt things that were new to him. He was trying to figure out what to say to her when she approached him and asked if he could create a certain frog. Before he knew it he found himself in a deep discussion with her about the requirements to create a horned frog. When that conversation died down he asked about her interest in insects and that set off a discussion that lasted long into the night. He found that she seemed to share his interests and he hers. Geranium started teasing him as he was spending so much time with this lovely female. It was his son who put the idea into his head to invite her to share his nesting area. They are currently awaiting the hatching of their first clutch of eggs.
