Biography
A biologist at heart, he always spends time looking underneath leaves and rocks to find as many specimens to study as he can.

Otello would be the first to admit that he wasn't good at hunting. He usually spent his time collecting frogs rather than trying to eat them. He liked to go on early morning walks through the forests, observing the birds and moss. It calmed him. Life in the clan could be hectic, and although he was patient, it was nice to not have to always deal with Xephras' "artistic personality."
As he walked, he made mental notes as to the locations of particularly interesting specimens, so that he could come back later with his field guide and write down his observations.
-
"I thought Snappers didn't sleep," said a familiar, sharp voice.
"We don't," Otello said, not even bothering to open an eye. "But I like to rest. Things can be hectic."
He was keenly aware of One standing over him, eyeing him up and down. No doubt he must've looked strange, lying in the sun, eyes closed. In his defense, he didn't have anything else to do.
"You can join me if you'd like," Otello offered, taking a moment to stretch and shift to a more comfortable position. He opened his eyes and squinted at One, who looked something like an Ampelope caught outside of a thunderstorm; eyes wide and looking frantically around.
"I- you-"
"You don't have to if you don't want to," Otello said, shifting a little again and closing his eyes. "But the offer's open."
There was a moment's pause, and then Otello heard and then felt One walk over to him and curl next to him. very stiff. Eventually, in part due to the warmth of the sun and in part due to Otello's steady breathing, he felt One relax.
