Labradorite's skills lie in the manipulation of magic. Spellcasting comes easily to her, and she has a knack for reshaping spells on the fly, putting them to unexpected and effective use. Her greatest talent, though, is making friends. Just as she juggles her spells, she finds it satisfying to balance others' needs, and even among strangers she tries to make sure that everyone is satisfied. She is warm and generous almost to a fault, and deeply protective of her found family.

The youngest in her nest of three eggs, and one of many siblings, Labradorite has never been truly alone. Too much silence bothers her, and she quickly grows restless, rustling her wings and swishing her tail to try and make a space feel less empty. So when she first met Rue, she wasn't sure how to deal with their mutual inability to communicate. Over the weeks and months the youngsters spent together, though, they were able to work out a system of signs and body language, and now converse as easily as any other dragons.

As soon as they were fully grown, she and Rue departed the Starfall Isles in search of a new home they could build for themselves. Their journey brought them first to the Scarred Wasteland, where they met a young Nexus and his charge, and eventually to Dragonhome. The trio have made a family together, and Labradorite can no longer imagine a life without both of her partners by her side.

She is the clan's unofficial ambassador and master of trade, going wherever negotiation or mediation is needed. This role never takes her too far from home, though, and she's always relieved at the end of the day when she can join her mates in their lair and simply relax, free from other worries.
