Waterskin Unstable Serthis Concoction Thick Meat Strips Whereas Olivia’s twin sister Eloise is quiet and, in Olivia’s opinion, a little timid, Olivia is loud and raucous, thriving in social gatherings and always willing to try something new. She is a scout for the clan, blending in to the sun-dappled ruins as she investigates new food sources or potential enemies. Perhaps this bravery was spurred on by the fact that Olivia has gone through many transformations in her lifetime.

Olivia was born a Tundra with no special patterning. (She retains an excellent sense of smell, using her tongue instead of nose.) She decided abruptly that her body didn’t reflect who she truly was; when her sister agreed, they began their quest together to change who they were. Olivia ventured into the wide expanse of sandswept delta and eventually came across a wise male Serthis, in danger from his own nest of dominant females. Olivia heroically saved him, and in return he agreed to help her and her sister change their bodies.

The Potionmaster researched and experimented, and eventually came up with four scrolls: first, he darkened their belly feathers with a touch of exotic spice. Next, he captured the reflection from a Scaleback’s iridescent scales, and applied it to their wings. Finally, he pulled shadows from the air and splattered them on their bodies.

Olivia and the Potionmaster are tied to each other. Infinitely grateful for his service, Olivia convinced the dragon clanmates to let the Potionmaster stay (though they feel uneasy around him) and create scrolls when needed. Olivia ventures away from the clan sometimes to fetch ingredients for him, and when she does, she always remembers to visit her distant little sister.
