Eloise

Demure, soft-spoken, and shy, Eloise is a dragon who finds it difficult to communicate with others using her voice. She has the bad habit of stammering and stumbling over her words when she is nervous... which she almost always is. Instead, she prefers to communicate with other members of the clan by written notes and letters. She has beautiful handwriting and is skilled in the art of calligraphy; her skill is such that Mama often dictates official missives to other clans to Eloise.

Eloise shares a close bond with her adventurous twin sister, Olivia, who lives in the far-off lands of the Lightweaver. Because Olivia's egg hatched first, Eloise calls her "big sister". Together, they share a dream of changing every aspect of themselves, from claw to wingtip, using the magic of transformation scrolls.

Their transformation began with drawing out a hidden color of rich, deep gold on the fur of their bellies. Months later, after much scrimping and saving, they procured scrolls that caused their wings to catch the light and shimmer with all the colors of spring. Their journey nearly complete, they discovered scrolls that caused a mottled bar pattern to appear on their fur.

Finally, after much deliberation, Eloise and Olivia chose to give up their lives as Tundras to live as Coatls. Though the path was long and difficult, their journey of transformation is finally complete. Eloise is excited to continue her life as a Coatl, ever in contact with her beloved older sister.
