The Keeper

As a young dragon, Ahau got nothing but scorn from his peers. He was a Starbound, he was told by his mother; Something that just didn't feel "right" to most. He knew little of his past. Just a feeling of falling from somewhere, and then waking with his kindly old mother watching over him. He remembers nothing past that. After a tragic incident brought about her death, however, Ahau was forced to run and find elsewhere to be. Nowhere felt right to him, nothing ever clicked: until he found Arcane territory. Why, among the crystalline pillars, he felt right at home! He found someone who was willing to take him in for a while, mentor him in the arts of magic; A kind Mirror named Zero. Or, at least, he seems kind: Ahau doesn't know all that much about him, and he's never never allowed in his workshop.

Despite the friendliness of the Windswept, Zero never wanted to associate much; But Ahau did, so he went down and found a job under Rose as the Archive keeper, or the Keeper. He's in charge of organizing things for the Clan, and in exchange, he's given somewhere to stay. He does still train under Zero, but doesn't live with him anymore: Ahau only wishes to prove himself to everyone. Who knows what lengths he'll go to...?
